The angle of orientation reverts, not the zoom levels.

I believe the default angle can be configured in SYS.TXT as well... I'll have to look it up. I do not run in at 90 degrees, but for me once I have set the angle I like and dismissed tilt controls properly, it is sticking for me...

Mine doesn't revert either. Set it once and it has stayed (so far
