If i have the Hardware bypass on already before the mod and install this all in one mod w/ the software bypass, will that cause video to stop playing on DVD/ipod video?
peace out.

nope, but you shouldn't be watching video in a moving vehicle.
hey guys...newb here.
cmh928...thanks alot for your mod...its awesome. i have the newbie unzip to sdcard one...works like a charm. couple of questions i have for you (which may very well have been answered 42x already but i am being lazy and didnt feel like reading through the 20 pages of this forum)...but my questions are as followed:
1- angle of 3d navigation. If I wanted to go back to the regular pioneer angle that it came with...can i do that with your mod installed? if so, how?
2- start icons- can we go back to the stock ones or does that entail too much monkeying around?
I'm very new at this....but you've made it very easy so far. thanks for everyones help.

1. yes, settings are in sys.txt
2. start icons?
sorry...the start icons like, the destination/contacts/av source buttons. and in the sys.txt, what do the factory settings read so i can go back to where it was (what in the sys.txt file do i need to change and what do i change it to?) Can i just copy the section of the 3d zoom from the backup copy of my flash drive?

for the main menu icons, you have to find a stock image.res file,
for the sys.txt, you have to find a default sys.txt
for you to be able to find this info you have to search the forum

Howdy folks,
First off, thank you for creating this all in one package. I'm a recent owner of an Avic f90bt and purchased it because of how easily modified it is, among other reasons. I installed the AIO the other day and so far, I've been having a blast using all the tweaks.
The one thing that I'd like to change is some of the custom sounds. Specifically, the reroute voice prompt where it says something about making a suggestion and I'd just ignore it. That one drives me nuts. Is there an easy way to revert back to the default sound files (i have a backup flash disk of the original software) or keep the improved samples, but with a more serious tone? Pretty much, I just want to get rid of the "humorous" voice samples.
Thanks in advance.

i think you have to change the TTS file in the AIO to your backup and load it again,
cool thanks. now one more thing (yes...i'm sorry but you're good so i'm gonna keep asking lol)...if i copy the sys.txt from my backup...do i lose the use of the speedcams? the reason i ask is because my backup sys.txt file is much different then cmh's...

you could just put speedcam_enabled=1 in the debug section of your sys.txt
thanks! appreciate the help!
you dont have to answer this...but what is that other code written for in the sys.txt? anything important (other than zooming specs, the red car in the 2d mode and the smaller arrows?)
specifically...the thing that says "enable poi's?"

now i can't remember what your first question was, for the zoom settings it just limits the zoom tilt functions to a certain level
I would suggest just commenting out or removing the "defaulttilt3D" line and leaving the rest. You can make this mod to the sys.txt in my AIO under the mitacap\apl2\igo\ folder as well as moving a stock image.res into the mitacap\apl\ folder. Then when you insert the SD card again, it will load the changes for you.
For the user complaining about Alan Rickman's voice, the AIO's I uploaded the other day do not use that version and neither do the new Data&Voice only files. I would suggest grabbing a newer copy than the one you downloaded as there are a ton of other tweaks included as well.
Man!! You made quite a few tweaks to the SYS.txt!
What will this addition do:
show_lane_info=1
I'll have to try it in my current one!
Thanx,
Bud
No.. THIS is a long sys.txt https://www.naviextras.com/shop/mvnforu ... post=19861
Lane info controls the small arrows that show up when approaching a multi-lane split on the highway. This data has to be in the maps, though.
So then the code in the sys.txt just resides until you work out the details of the lane info coding?

But doesn't AVIC show lane info stock anyway? It's one of the selling points for it ![]()
As for the enable_pois this doesn't apply to us, it is for being able to use older format POI files on PDA versions of iGO...

Thats what I figured. I saw the POI's commented out so that is a given and I **thought** the lane info showed up already but I have not had a chance to see it in action since I have not traveled into an area that has these yet.
As rule I stay the "F" away from Los Angeles as it it too much of a cluster-f and I do not have a .50cal. bolted to the front of my truck yet ![]()

Yeah, from what I remember of LA traffic, I wouldn't go there unless I were driving a tank ![]()

hey guys i downloaded one of the navi mods and my msn stop connecting to msn is there a reason it doesnt work anymore?
the lane info does work, at least around here, may not always be right but its there (as in sometimes it shows more lanes then are really there)

it happends sometimes after you come out of test mode, reset you unit (the reset button) that fixed it for me the last time, other have said that entering into test mode again and then starting normally after that fixed it for them.
