So i installed my 700 before i found this forum and simply just grounded out the parking brake wire and i didn't do the mute wire hardwire mod. Things work fine but some icons get greyed out when traveling over around 5 MPH. The last few days i get this Warning alert saying that my parking brake wire is connected incorrectly. I simply tap the OK button and it goes way and i can keep using the unit. This message only started coming up the last week. Coincidentally the image from my backup camera is now black aswell. Is this parking bake warning common? Im guessing i have to do the hardwire mod this weekend.
Any thoughts?
