yeah, if you have the time that would be greatly appreciated. I was messing with photoshop and trying to fix the X-SP badge and get it all cut out and all the reflection out of it and i just screwed it up, and you do GREAT work so maybe you can help me out?

I think I may be a little late to the party, but can you create a destination icon for me using my car (Or any white mustang drop top if the pic I sent isn't good enough)? I had some one on another forum chop in the rims, I bought them...just haven't put them on yet.
I may be missing something, but I can't get any of these to work. I followed the instructions on the Wiki page, but it won't work. I'm using CMH's mod...so I opened it up in 7z, replaced 4 of the 6 image files, 7zipped it back up and all I get is a blank screen with words listed under where the icons should be. In fact I can press where the icon should be and it works, but I'm missing icons....and not just the ones I tried to replace. I'm missing ALL of them. Is there another step, or special settings to use when 7ziping Image.res back up?
This is what I did:
Installing Custom Icons
1. install 7zip on your pc
2. look in LPUE080\APL for the file called Image.Res
3. extract all the files from that so you have a \Image\ folder and inside will be all the image files and change which ever you please then you need to 7zip the whole folder and rename it to image.res
4. copy it over to your sd card
5. get into Test Mode and copy the new image.res to the flash disk\APL\ folder
6. remove SD card and reboot

Topless Stang, sounds like you're doing everything right. Maybe re-zipping the wrong folder? When you unzip the .res file it opens Image/Image/.. When zipping it back up, you want to zip from the 2nd Image folder. Not the first.
how about some images or even possibly a theme using the acura rsx and honda logo images?

I'm still having a problem using these files. Can anybody help? I'm using CMH's mod. I used 7z to open the image.res file. I copied over the new image files and replaced the ones that were in the 'common' folder. After that I used 7z to rezip the file, renamed it and uploaded it. After rebooting the deck I don't see any icons, just words. If I change back to the stock image.res file that's included in CMH's hack everything works. Anyone have any ideas??

hey can someone help me out too. i think im having a problem with my .bmp being too big? i heard it have to be the same exact size as the original 112k? thats impossible. when booting up it doesnt even go pass the splash screen. what am i doing wrong?
