Your install looks great. I also have a 2007 Dodge Ram, and I used the metra install kit first.
Then I installed a Z in a buddy's Ram, and found a new install kit from American International. It only cost a few bucks, and looks MUCH better than the Metra kit. It is a one piece vs. the Metra two piece.

or
Metra 99-6510. I had the Metra part and changed to the American International. Take the time to find the American International kit and you won't be disappointed.

I like it. I used the same install kit for my 2008 Ram.

It looks more stock, and sets back a little bit further in the dash.
