Wow we are hammering that turboss.com site. The download resets after about 500mb. Tried it 3 times now. I am ready to give up and say whats the rush? But then I have that voice that says yaay, lets do it. One of those obsessive/compulsive things I guess.

Right click, open in new window and it should let you in, or use firefox. Both worked for me.

Those of you who are download the x910bt image, what is the f910bt.zip? its the same size. Is it the europeon backup or did someone upload another version/backup of 3.0 update on the x series?

Also there is some confusion now. You need no hacked files, just straight copy and replace and you will have firmware 3.0, 2009 maps ?

if you got an US deck then yes since that zip file is a straigt copy from a working v3 deck

I am uploading to turboss.com as well, my upload is 5x faster then his and it will be done in 40 minutes!

 

Flash the new CE Image from the update on Pioneers website as had been discussed before, boot into test mode and overwrite your files with the ones in this zip and enjoy

All went well until I tried to update the latest firmware. Error 112 copy error. It hangs when it tries to copy the United States dem file. I tried 2 SD cards and still same error. Any ideas? Thanks

Thats weird I just did the update and it worked fine, and I had previously flashed the wince image off the 3.01 update to get the apl folder working. The only thing I noticed is after updating from 3.0 to 3.01, av1 is set to off and not ipod. Did this happen to everyone else?

I didn't have that problem. Everything works on mine and when I look at my system settings map version shows 0.00 and firmware shows 0.00. Base maps show 2007 and all of the states maps show 2008.10.

Can I boot into test mode and manually put the United States .dem file. Also under Language shows french canadian??

Wow something went weird on yours my map version says 2.0004 and firmware says 3.010100. Language is English. Only thing diff. on mine is av1 not being set to ipod on hard reboot.

Did you try completely erasing your flashdisk then copying the files?

Asian fonts are good to go with firmware 3.0. Mine is working perfectly.

Not yet. Maybe I ran out of space from all of the mods I did already? I only have 30MB left on the disk. I think I may have scewed up.

Finally got it done. I deleted the entire flash disk and put x910 on then loaded new firmware. It only took me all night.lol. Now where are those 2009 maps...and my 60.00 refund from Pioneer..lol

2008.1 is what mine shows. Everyone else confirm?

I am pretty sure mine said 2008 as well. I will look into it further tomorrow. I also haven't done this update yet, just 3.0.0.

Yep 2008.1 are the maps you get with 3.0 and 3.01. Does anyone else not like the update Im seriously considering putting 2.0 back untill some mods come out for 3.0. I really miss the quick launch icons and being able to mute and cancel route on the map screen without having to into a bunch of sub screens. The only benefit is the improved 2d but I cant stand 2d so thats no benefit to me. Oh well I guess this is a good oppurtunity to learn how to develop the mods and not just implement them.

By deleting maps and updating to 3.0 I got my boot down to 15 seconds. That is priceless for me

Boot time is the same for me, about 45 seconds for everything to be up and running. I tried entering a location today on my way to work and the screen would get stuck so I would have to press the map button to refresh it. It did do this every once in a while pre 3.0 but not nearly as much and I figured it would of been resolved. Dont really have any major complaints but theres not really any major improvenments either(minus button response but I already had the new ce image flashed). I would deff. be pissed if I spent the 70 bucks for this. I think I will be happy once some mods came out, I just wish I knew enough about programming to develop some myself.
