REQUEST: EU image V3 Deck

i have uploaded that image for people who broke there decks without a working backup and lost there 2008 maps.

 

i'm also very impressed how stupid some people are and in need of some reading specs! the name of the file clears it all isn't it?

Just saw that. Sorry for the confusion. My FTP client has some really stupid buffering feature and showed me some old files.

Yup i wrote all what you need is there, we all know that the ezrider 09 isn't hacked yet so i assumed everyone knew that it would be the firmware complete update with an easy copy paste procedure to follow and then you are up and running :) .Thanks bitman

Sorry for the confussion.

 

Then the folder APL2 is igo 8.0?. If so, it would have been better APL-->3.0010 (which version you uploaded? The

3.0 or 3010100 in APL?), APL2 -> Hacked EZRIDER.EXE 2.07 plus universal lincense file, MAPS -> 2009 (for igo 8.0). It would have been more complete and updated (the most updated sotware and maps combination possible for EU with the material we have now), this is how I got it at least. All this information is clarified in the filename????

 

In addition, you could have deleted your PHONEDATA folder and so on, your contacts, call history and other settings that are available to everyone.

yeah, that was a bit stupid from me to include those details :shock: but there was some one who crashed his deck. so i uploaded a fresh image directly from my deck to help him.

 

removed my image since that person has his deck up and running again 8)

I copy ALL files to flash disc.

i restart unit pressing reboot button.

 

The sistem freeze at starts (pioneer image and nothing)

 

¿Why? i´m desesperated

Do you have the same directory structure on the Avic (My Disk) drive than before? An APL Folder and an APL2 folder?

A need restore unit.

I don´t have a older files (MyFlashDisco) of my avic, but i downloaded a FULL EU image from ftp://www.turboss.com

i descompress to a USB drive.

Put WINCE files in a SD card and update the system.

Put in other SD TestMode v2.3 and start windows CE in my F900BT.

When the systems starts, double click in control panel and duble click in manager storage.

Format MyFlashDisk

Copy files USB drive (all) with the structure APL, APL2,APL3... to MyFlashDisk

When finalished, turn off the ignition.

while 10 seconds and turn on the ignition.

The systems not starts, but the pioneer screen apears and the system freeze.

So this it not the same for EUROPE what the US guys already have? The full 3.0 update with igo 8.3 and maps :(

Which folders/files contains what exactly?

To be precise: Is the folder "Official EU pioneer V3.0 mapupdate" a full 3.x update, which only has to be put on two SD cards for update? Or is there somethin missing or not working (e.g. EZRIDER, missing maps,...)

There is NO V3.0 Update for EU AVICS there. There never has been!

It was just the workaround that is discussed in another thread. (old IGO 8.0 with new APL folder).

 

Clear enough?
