Thanks, works great on f900BT EU

Has anyone else noticed any blue squares on the map, like sections of the map (in squares) are a different colour. Everything works great, just this seemed a bit strange. Never noticed this before.

I have Tomolas APL2 folder running in Firmware 3.01, I would like to add the speed cam mod v3

do I just copy the data zip and sys txt files over the ones on my unit, or do I need to edit Tomolas Data zip file with the speed cam mod files then put on SD card and copy over the Data zip on my unit?

Yes I had the same problem.It is something within the map itself and I couldn't get rid of it.I solved it by installing updated maps(2009.Q6)and haven't had a problem since.The link to these maps are well documented elseware on this forum

how can i install this version over my 2.09 ?

This is how i done it.

First I updated my Wince files (from 910bt Eu firmware upgrade 3.01 on official site) you need to enter service menu

Then I copied the rest of the files from this firmware over my original files in testmode

I then copied over Tomolas APL2 folder over the updated APL2 folder

Then I got the most up tp date maps 2009-6 and copied them into my map folder in APL2/Igo/Content/Maps

And now got firmware 3.01 and latest maps running on my F900bt

I am in Hungary, I have a Pioneer AVIC F900 BT. type of navigation device.

Come 2:05 version. The maps I would like to replace it, but I do not know, because I always rebootol.

The maps are the same (8.0) device.

What can be done to change the maps to know?

i've installed v3 firmware new map license and speedcam. Now i can see the cam on my unit my i couldn't activate the alert

on settings->navi settings -> alert there isn't nothing about speedcam alert.

why???

But the maps in this link are for IGO 8.0 ................this new firmware doesn´t work with IGO 8.3????

Can I update my firmware to the new 3.000. version and continuing using original maps from Pioneer??????

That link has 8.0 maps and 8.3 maps.

I just would like to know if anyone has successfully upgraded an F900BT EU from this 3.000300 to 3.020200.

This is how I've done it after reading dragon24's tutorial:

1 - Download the files on the first post, testmode 2.3

2 - In an 2GB SD card put WINCEIMG.BIN & WINCEIMG.CKS that are on the MyFlash folder on the root, create an testmode dir (with test mode in it).

3 - Start your car

4 - Press and hold the menu, map, eject buttons at the same time and hit the reset button.

5 - Once you hit the reset button, you will hear a pop sound from your speakers.

6 - Then the DVD/CD drive will load. When you hear this let go of the eject button but continue to hold menu and map buttons.

7 - This will bring you to a blue screen where you will have to enter the service combination - Up, Up, Down, Menu, Left, Right.

8 - Put the SD card and press Update CE

9 - Select Update SD Format

10 - Wait till it says restart in the bottom center. This will take about 2-3 minutes to install.

11 - Hit the reset button with the SD on the slot.

12 - Once WinCE boots up, double Click on My Device at the top left of the screen.

13 - Copy the content on MyFlash folder on the SD to the MyFlash drive on the device.

14 - Once done (it will take 20 to 30 mins)

15 - Press and hold restart and eject for 5 seconds.
