hey, if you're seeding are we supposed get some download speed? just wondering how does this work.

Ok guys seeds are now going up ... so that means that some of you have finished downloading...

when you done you have to un rar them and make them into ISO's then burn them at the slowest speed and check the box to verify data ...

I use Power iso set at the lowest speed and to verify .. if you don't verify it may say burn ok but could be corrupted

Im using MagicISO now how do I get this to burn???

I am pretty sure last time I made one of these I used Nero and mounted the iso like an image.

Damn I hope some speed increase... getting 100kB down and pushing 290kB up right now says 1day 12 hours to complete I'll switch my upload to my full 5mb upload once I get this

oh yah btw use ImgBurn at 2.4x to burn this and leave your computer alone while burning and try to use verbatim disks and you will not have problems

Remember you need dual layer 8.5 GB disks and good burner

Also someone let me know after you burn them that they work good NO CORRUPTED DATA.

yeah i thought it was already in iso form? so what i did was extracted the rar and just copied the contints of the folder to a data dvd using nero i will see if that works or not

Damn my download went up to like 945kB and then stayed for 30 sec and back down to 100kB ugh

that is the link that was posted on page 7 or so of this thread. i haven't had allot of luck so far. i was "downloading"

all night and got nowhere. i am waiting on someone with some good news, like they have burned a working copy of this

Pulled down East

1.) Extracted RAR to disk, went fine.

2.) Using PowerISO, burned files from hard disk to DVD with verify, went fine. Did not use burn files to ISO, then burn ISO to DVD option.

3.) Disc boots into NAV, checks disk, displays Pioneer splash screen, then I get a "this is not the correct disk" type error.

Have older AVIC-88 unit. Awaiting results for successful use (not just burn) from other people. Will continue seeding East later on this afternoon.

Thanks for the work and effort. I'll do my part for those that can't/don't know how to work torrents. I will upload both disks separate to the newsgroups with par2 sets attached. Hopefully this will help propagate the disks around to more people. I will also leave my computer on for an extra few days to help with the seeding. My ISP gets real picky with uploaded bandwidth (Upload caps with no warning).

Let us know when it is up on the newsgroup servers. I can't use torrents here at work. Grrrr!

what type of disc are you trying to burn on? i can remember during last years "update", there was allot of disc errors.

for last year update disc i used a circuit city inhouse brand called nextec they work perfect but since they are out of business im going to use tdk disc

i ended up using a Memorex DVD+R DL, i had no luck with the TDK. i am not really worried about what type of disc i am going to use at this point, can't get the stupid to start downloading with utorrent
