Well I know what app your using but ya think you might want to let everyone else know.
I messed with TVOut awhile back, but it never looked right on my TV... Maybe I'll try it out again...
What remote control is that though? It runs on both Windows and MacOS?
Landscape TV OUT is the app that I use and appears to be the best out of all of the tv out apps for the iPhone. It is also free.

This is all being controlled from the iPhone. A computer doesn't apply here.

He's connecting to a couple of machines at the beginning of the video... My guess is over WiFi, as it's too fast for 3G..
It looks familiar to WinAdmin App, but I don't believe it supports MacOS... LogMeIn?
Nevermind.... figured it out...
are you connecting with the IU50V cable or a composite cable in AV1?
Thanks
He is using the Pioneer cable through the iPod source.
Oh ic
I tried it this morning with no success
Is there anything is particular I need to do?
I activated TV OUT, ran an app and nth appears on my Z...
Thanks in advance!
Try RESUPPORTED or LANDSCAPE TV OUT.
ya I'm using TV OUT
is there sth in particular I need to press on the iPod Video screen on the Z?
Use the apps I suggested.
oups sorry
I mean I'm using TV OUT Landscape (4got to write the whole thing)~
In that case you will need to play with the first two options in the settings.
Mine works only on certain games/apps
It also won't go into portrait mode, and the Iphone's screen goes black, instead of being mirrored onto the avic...
Using Landscape TVOut 1.80-1
Try Resupported. It retains the controls on the phone.
Sorry for the delay in replying. Yes I was using TVOut through the Pioneer iPod cable. The app to connect to my PC/Macbook Pro is called JaaduVNC but there are other (cheaper/free) VNC solutions out there. This was all done on 3G however (requiring the 3G Unrestrictor for the Slingbox).
I have not messed with any other "video out" apps besides TVOut, but man was it a pain to get the sizing/location of the screen/touchpad set up. For my iPhone 3GS with the Pioneer iPod cable my approximated TVOut settings are as follows: Screen Position - H: 85, V: -20, Screen Size - H: 1.5, V: 1.1, Touch Screen Calibration - HP: -50, VP: -92, HS: 0, VS -0.04.
The only major "flaw" is having to tap around on the iPhone screen while the "screen" of the iPhone is being displayed on the Z110BT. The "Touch Marker" option helps (displays red dot on Z110BT screen reflecting where your touch/tap on the iPhone screen has registered.
I wonder if the iPhone SDK can accept screen touch/tap info as "input" over the 30-pin iPod cable? If so, and if someone could hack the Z110BT to supply that info over the iPod cable then we'd really be in business (controlling the iPhone's graphical display via the Z110BT touch interface - albeit without "multitouch").

Thanks man....
Yes it doesn't work near as good as you did with your vid.... It definitely needs improvement... still cool as hell though...
It could possibly open up doors.... I like it...
I checked your other vids... It appears that your travel more than most...
Thanks again..
i just tried it
once i plug it into my Z and pressed video on screen it shows me option of Video playlists just like it used to be...
Is it suppose to switch to the iPhone's screen out automatically?
Once you hit the video button, open the app you would like to display.
nth shows up... damn
nth shows up... damn
Try to play a movie first, then hit the home screen on the IPhone/IPod... then open an app...
Try an app that the OP has... as I found that not all apps will do it... Try the helicopter game... Think it's called "Chopper"
Has anyone gotten this to work running the slingbox app? When I launch the app on the phone (3Gs) the screen goes black as it should, but I'm only getting audio through the hu. When I press video through the iPod av screen it only gives me the options for my video playlists, music videos, tv shows, etc... but no video from the app.
On the LandscapeTVOut forums one user suggested changing the video layers, but hierachy layer = 1 should be the correct setting. Any ideas? Thanks.
Try a different setting on the app or try a different app. I use resupported and it works well.
