I know that you need to enter the unit and media number to to the map/feature upgrade but do you have to do that for the bluetooth upgrade as well? I would love to upgrade my bluetooth as it is currently quite flakey.

I thought I'd seen a video where someone seemed to be streaming youtube to the head unit? Is there anyway to do this even with the wire connected?
I have also seen this trick (feature) in a video as well. You can play youtube by playing an ipod video and then launching youtube on the idevice. The youtube video takes over the ipod vid.
Yes vblue I use to play my itouch video via bluetooth. Once the head unit would recognize my touch i would press play on the touch and it would stread thru my head unit but not after the update
Theres no way. Neither device supports video over BT. Matter fact, Im not sure any device supports video over BT. What is it with people on this forum lately with the vivid imaginations.
He probably meant to say he use to stream the music from the video not the video image itselt. I know I can stream the music from any video on youtube with my motorola droid but there's no way I can make it show the image on the z110bt.
Is anyone working on figuring out the code and making this a torrent? Is it even possible?
I'm suppost to be getting the image file soon from one of our members. Keep checking back, we should have it crack by the end of this month if everything goes acording to plan.

Can anyone confirm if the AVIC Feeds works with the new iPhone 4 and the 120 upgrade? With the 110, the current AVIC Feeds app no longer shows up in my Contact list after my iPhone 4 syncs to the head unit. Is this a problem on the 120 as well?
If not, I'll probably upgrade sooner than later.

Please explain how you were able to do it. I've tried on mine and its not possible. I haven't upgraded mine yet so it is still a 110. You can only do audio from /touch/iphone over bluetooth which is why there is only an icon for bluetooth audio not bluetooth audio and video if you play a movie trough your ipod while in bluetooth audio source the only thing of the movie that plays is the audio. If you try to move to another source your connection to the ipod is lost.

I dont know what you think you did but it wasn't video over BT. Neither the 110/120 nor the Touch are capable of doing that. I don't care what you say its not possible. You might as well be claiming while your at it that your 110 also controls all of the traffic lights and turns them green for you as you approach.

I am glad that I entertained you guys here but sorry i don't smoke especially being a physical therapist working in a hospital which does random drug test. In would bet anything that you all tried to get it to work. It work for me before so I can say it did work with the 110 but not anymore with the 120. Topic over.
It doesn't work on the 120 for the same reason it doesn't work on the 110. Its not possible. And it didn't work on your 110 either.

Just got the update installed on my Z110BT. This turns it 100% into a Z120BT/X920BT.
You can scroll through the music on the iPod, tap the directions in the top left of the map screen to speak the last command etc. Very pleased so far. Also, BT and Pandora Radio/BT streaming works perfectly on my iPhone 4. Did the software/map update, the 3.10 BT update and then the 3.11 BT update from the second SD card.

$200 still seems like a lot. How does the password work on this? Do you get a unique password for each SD card? Does it authenticate to the unit some how?
With the upgrade, Pioneer provides you with a "Media Number". You then go to a website https://www.pioneernavigationupdate.com. The site asks you for the Media Number, as well as you head unit's device # (found in the system settings of the hu). The site generates a password that you need to save/write down. This password is unique to your hu. When you decide to do the upgrade (Card #1) it asks you for the password. It took about 25 minutes or so for the Card #1 to finish installing after that. Then I inserted the second card to update the bluetooth firmware.
