The green ground with a cursor means that your current position doesn't exist in the map (or vice-versa). Make sure that Canada_xxxxxxxx.fbl is in the map folder.

I have an official CNSD-100FM on my F900BT which therefore has 3.020200.

I also have Daftia's excellent mod.

Don't want to shell out another £100 for the 200 update.

A. Is there a way to make mine 200 map wise

B. Is there a way to upgrade the firmware is it version 3 ?

Please post instructions for similar folks in my position.

no it doesn't...one thing thats disappointing me with my wifes 910. So I used the 2D mode...blah. But the firmware update was AWESOME!!!! my screen actually touches properly and is responsive. Also the bluetooth, graphic clarity, and over all speed is much much better. Worth the 120 bucks i paid IMO.

Anyone else's MSN break with the Map update? Says something about incorrect firmware.

 

Read your instructions again .. in Chapter 4 Page 26 .. it gives you seperate directions for updating the MSN.

my MSN just stopped working all together. won't get past the "connecting to MSN direct" when I hit the status. Also it will not do the update. no signal shows up. I do get FM stations just fine though. I would love to try the new traffic service with the update. Anyone got any ideas??

Does this do anything other than maps? Does it change firmware at all? I bought the last maps from Pioneer, it would be nice if they would offer a discount if you buy annually. At $120 I will buy every other year unless there is a firmware improvement attached.

subscribed... I dont get it though..... the update b4 this was 3.01... but the latest on their website says 2.0..... and now they're releasing 4.0?

This is definitely a firmware upgrade along with the maps.

can i download the EU version somewhere on this forum? An is it difficult to instal it, the non official way? Is there a tutorial here? Sorry for my bad english .....

I am considering buying this unit. Is this still something I can get? I basically want to purchase an AVIC F500 and then upgrade it to the latest greatest for the US

Well Im pretty confused!! Its been awhile since I have been on this site and I havent done anything to my 700bt! Is this version "4" upgrade available for my head unit? And if so can it be done without the 3.0 versions installed first?

Can any Canadian AVIC users please advice if Pioneer Canada has the CNSD-200FM in stock?

I can't find it on their website.

I got an unopened F500BT and just got the latest update from Pioneer for $99, marked down from $120. The update got here fast, but had no instructions, the website had only FAQs and 'Walkthru" for the F700 and both of the online pdf instruction manual files were corrupted. Nice work, Pioneer.

I took a chance and found, as a prev post said, the required device number was not listed in the service settings. It is now, after trying card A. It came up right after boting from the card, so i used my desktop to get the password and printed it. the install failed at about 6%, allowed the restart, then completed; took about 20 minutes, then asked if I wanted to keep the splash screen or choose another. I will try their 'new' Samantha which hopefully, won't suck like the last one. <not much change>

So CE was upgraded and new maps, plus the key sound changed slightly. I have little time with the unit, so cannot judge much else.

Card B would did not boot.
