Yes i did all that, it didn't even run in the Win Ce emulator, but there seems to be problems with some of the maps, i have tried to take away some of the maps and then it went fine in the emu.

I'm downloading it again and will try in the 900Bt tomorrow, maybe it's corrupted map files?

Ok, the problem was that i did remove the Licence files that were on the player, i replaced them and now it seems to Work although the only map there is now is Norway, i will try to reload the rest tomorrow while driving since it takes a lot of time and tear down my battery.

I downloaded and installed this step by step as per guide,

when i turn the unit on , it boots with the startup screen and Says system startup in progress but after 8 seconds or so it restarts itsellf and then continues to do this.

can anyone help? i am using a US version of a F700BT

Sounds like the post above. Did you copy the license file(s) without deleting the old ones?

yes mate i did, well there was only the one liscence file that i coppied across, and i didnt delete any of the others, if you can help me to sort this out i will paypal you something lol, ive not had my satnav for weeks now and i really need it lol, would it matter the unit or the firmware thats on?

is there any way to get EU maps working on a US 700BT?

I tried 3 types of maps by now (all 8.3 for 3.0 update) several ezrider and license files, and all possible combinations.

Even with the standard basemap and just Netherlands loaded, I can get no further then seeing Hungary in my country screen, but still unable to choose.

Please can someone clearify how EU maps work on a 3.0 US 700BT?

I took another ezrider and license file from the 2009 maps topic

and also I removed the mapsdb file from apl2 igo content

and it loaded without problems.

no clue if it was one of the files or de db file to be removed, but it works. After 2 days of madness, so frankly I don't care what did the trick, it works for me!!!

Oh right so they have some sort of MD5 filechecking going on there because it's immediately flagged as illegal. I will have to re-rar the files and re-upload again Will do overnight...

In dutch :Nou heb ik de kaarten aan de gang. Maar nu doet bleutooth het niet meer. f900bt vind telefoon niet en andersom ook helemaal niks meer. Iemand een idee?

In englisch: I've got the maps working but now has bleutooth stopt working. f900bt can't find phone and visa versa. Does anyone have an idea ?

Reset your unit and remove the AVIC from the phone and try again?
