I have downloaded these. West worked but when trying to burn the east I got this: alcohol 120% says Unrecognised file format for recording! Please insert a recognised image file for recording! These are alcohol files mdf/mds. Is this file junk?

can someone fix the torrent on the east disk. I have the same problems.

For the rest of you here is my problem

I bought the set of upgrade discs from ebay.

I inserted one of the discs (east) and it went through an upgrade process. only 1/1 things upgraded. Then as soon as it finished it said "Eject disc and reinsert the apprpriate disc" My system has not worked ever since. I have the instructions for downgrading and I went through that process and I still have the same problem. Although, I do not trust the instructions since they were sent by the person who sent me the discs. I'm not sure if the discs are bad or if I'm doing something wrong or what. Either way I PMed you cableguy for those copies. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me! thanks

East disc is also unrecogizable. Anyone have a fix for this?

Someone who has managed to burn a working East disc should just make a working .nrg file and seed it. Many people have trouble with the East disc, but so far as I can tell, the .nrg file for the West disc has worked for everyone (worked for me too).

How could I make any money then?

well, how much are you charging? I already bought the DVD+R DLs..

I dont know if I aint doing something wrong, But when I click to download the download complete pops up. I have cable internet so I know it hasnt really downloaded it so fast.

Yep you need a BitTorrent client. The file you downloaded is an extremely small file called a tracker file that instructs the BitTorrent software on your computer on exactly which file(s) you want and who to download it from.

I'm helping to seed the West disk. Only adding another 300 kb but doing my part to help. :wink: I have not verified the torrent as I just ordered my dual layer DVD burner.

so I'm downloading the east rar right now... am I understanding correctly that it is not going to work and I am wasting my time?

It doesn't work...

Where do I download the east software?... I don't understand how to get it from the newsgroup.

So I got the image from the west torrent but it looks to be in 120% alcohol format. Are there any freeware/shareware tools I can open this with and inject the pim files? I tried isobuster which reads it but it doesn't want to let me insert my files. DVD Decryptor doesn't want to open it and neither will Nero Express 6.

I got a hold of UltraISO which read the .MDS and .MDF files and allowed me to inject the PIM files I wanted. So I'm all set thanks to the forum although the backgrounds I created didn't come out as good as I had hoped. I need to play around with GIMP some more.

I'm going to continue to seed the west disk and if anyone posts an east disk torrent I'll seed that as well.

I can burn copies of the west disk for any forum members who want one. I figure $12 covers the dual layer DVD, shipping and labor. It won't have anything fancy on the label.

I need the east disc torrent, I have d/l it twice and both say bad file, the west works fine, but not helping where I live :(

Anyways some help would be appreciated, these forums are the best.
