This most recent rebate offer for $100 on the X920BT stated I would receive the rebate in about 8 weeks I believe. Well, it's been more than 8 weeks and the status still says valid and ready for final processing. So today I called the phone number on Pioneer rebate's website and the guy says I SHOULD receive it by November 6th, but if not to call back. Are you kidding me? That would be well over 3 months since I sent it. The guy told me that it should take 4 - 6 weeks to receive their rebates, and I replied that it has been about 9 weeks since I initially sent it. I then asked why I never got it and he repeated the Nov 6th ETA. I said "well that's more than twice your expected delivery on the form and he only replied "yes" over and over again. Whatever, but $100 is $100 and I had forgot about it until last night when I saw the copy of the form I had sent.

So....has anyone actually received their rebate?

Don't feel bad, I was dumb enough to snail mail mine with the $erial number off the box

didn't save copys, and didn't realize I could have emailed it and saved a draft of said email :?

Mr. Kent Patterson, RebateHQ.com’s Consumer Complaint Specialist at (972) 538-7277.

Call him and straighten it out. I hadn't gotten my first one. I sent in a second one about a month ago and it got denied since there is a one rebate per household limit. I bought a second unit for a friend, had it shipped directly to my friend the next town over and he was cool with me taking the rebate for it since I installed it for him.

I called this guy, left a voicemail expecting to never hear back and sure enough he called me back the next day. I explained to him how the second rebate got denied because the return address on the envelope was mine and not my friend's and the whole thing would be valid if I had only put my friend's address on the envelope. He told me he would take care of it and call me back. Sure enough 5min later he called me back and processed it. He said he pushed my other rebate through to shipping and sure enough a week later I got my first rebate back. Now I should be getting my next one back soon.

I had to dig a big on Google to find this number since there are NO numbers listed on RebateHQ's website and their online support is useless and basically told me they couldn't do anything for me. Hope this helps!

Very good info Mike. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for that number, I will give it a try later this afternoon. I've had bad rebate experiences with rebates on so many other items that I didnt expect this to be any different, but I swear that they reset the clock on you when you call in, as if they dont plan to send the rebate UNLESS you call to complain. What a pain. Thanks very much.

I have not received my rebate and it has been exactly 2 months now. I swear I absolutely HATE rebates the amount of time it takes is absolutely obsurd. Mine has been saying accepted and ready for finaly processing now for basically 2 months.

Thanks for posting that number I just called the number and left a voicemail for Kent with my information. I will post back with what happens with mine as well.

I never received a call back from Kent, just vm when I call. I called rebateshq again today and was told another month. I asked for the name of the company that handles these rebates and the guy just stutters and says I will transfer you and guess what...on hold for over 20 minutes and then disconnected. I believe the company is Parago, Inc. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB.

Not yet, only mailed it 2 weeks ago though

So I filed w/ the BBB as I was irriated after the phone call to rebates HQ...and today I did receive a call from Kent who apologized for the delay and assured me they are looking into "the client" who is servicing these rebates. Seems like they've had a number of complaints (shocker there) and he says he will call me back and keep me posted. I always feel like the BBB is a last resort for me, but whether or not my filing has anything to do with the call, something appears to be happening at least. For me, the amount of the rebate has nothing to do with this, could have been $10 or $1000, it's the deceptive practices that irritate me beyone belief.

 I've been rebated.............................. mailed on 9/14 received 10/23 and that makes this the best bang for the ($458.00) buck mod ever

I received mine yesterday. Sent it back in early September. I sent it off with the mindset that if I get it great.. if not oh well and it finally came so its an extra $100 in my pocket!

2 guys on Slick Deals got their $100 rebates today. They mailed them in almost 2 months ago

I finally received my rebate this weekend as well, on my BBB complaint response from Parago, Inc. it stated that the rebate was received and accepted in July, so it only took 3 months to arrive. My rebate also required me to deposit it in person rather than through my ATM. What a long drawn out pain for $100.

I just bought my X920 from SoniElectronix. Will Pioneer honor the rebate?

It says you need to buy it by Oct 30 from an authorized dealer. I don't think Sonic is an authorized dealer

I finally got a postcard in the mail that said my rebate was not valid because I failed to include the original serial number. I kept copies of everything and verified I had written the serial number in the boxes provided, so I called. The guy I spoke with told me the same thing and made it sound like I was supposed to cut out the serial number and send that too! When I pressed him on it, he said he would put my on hold and check with his supervisor. He didn't put me on hold, I could still hear back ground noise...he was quiet for about 5 seconds and then came back and said he could process it because "the rest of my info was correct." At least now my online update says my rebate is valid and scheduled for processing -- but it's been a LONG time!

the phone number I called was on the Pioneer x920 web site page. A recording told me my rebate would be shipped on Dec 26. The online link shows that my rebate hasn't been submitted yet.

So, two parts of the same company process NOT communicating.

Why am I not surprised

Kent Patterson is the guy who responded to me, and his number is also listed in the BBB as the contact for Parago Inc which is the company responsible for fulfilling the rebate if I remember correctly. I believe his number is (search Kent Patterson Parago Inc) which also shows up when you search as a BBB post related to this individual. Good luck to you. This was really one of the last straws for me and rebates. I get so worked up over the shady tactics it's not worth the grief. The money is nice but even for $100 I dont know if it's worth the stress.

Sorry, but it looks like the number was removed my an admin so I removed it from my post here. It's an easy find if you just google it. It's not an 800 number BTW.
