The LED are hard wired, I guess you can unsolder it and swap a green LED in but that's tons of work and risk...

One final question, is there any way to change the LED color of the buttons? Mine are like a hot white. Can I change them to green to match the dsah more?

Very hard to do, they are miniature SMD's, so tiny you are hard pressed to see them on the board - and even harder to rework.
