I don't know what F220 is based on. Try to copy TESTMODE.KEY to root of SD and check if it works on your unit.

This is the AVIC-F220... It doesn't work standalone: it's connected to a AVH-5200BT:
I've just copied TESTMODE.KEY on the SD and inserted it into the F220. Nothing happens.

I need help with Part00 - our secret partition! In new ver. there are mountUNmount tools - .exe's to automount or unmount partitions. It works on Part01 and Part02 (NAND and NAND2), but not on Part00! Maybe some missing registry? Maybe bad MountFlags, MountHidden etc? - Info about that misterious partition in DiskRW.

1.4 working well on my unit.
DiskRW now works, but I have problem to save IMG file- it says couldn't write log file, and SD card full (before it was 3.8GB free) but image is 514KB only, it looks I need full 4GB free space on SD or USB. So I will try with clean 4GB or 8GB one.

Yes ignore log error, it will create it also 
yes, for full image you need almost 4gb, you could also decrease size to be dumped, first 100mb should be our secret partition will investigate it later!

try search at the z110bt/130 forum , about the crack of pioneer update, i see something about put the eu maps into a us unit making the update with eu cracked update! by shortfuse member!
I read through the thread and have been watching this all go down and first thing I wanted to say was thanks for all the hard work. I dabble in SW development, and was wondering if anyone has been able to crack the image and remove parts of it. I assume that on startup of Windows, it captures that com port and won't let us get to it. But that isn't a native function of windows, and we should be able to remove the process that captures the port, leaving it open to us to play with.
Where do we stand? I will be uploading the hack to my Z110bt with 120bt firmware, and I will take a look around this weekend. Condi, where do we stand on finding out the process that is capturing that port?
I've got read.img file from memory and using ImDisk Virtual Driver can mount them to my PC but
it shows 2 unmounted partitions, and if I mount any of them it says that drive is not formated.
Fat32 partitions can be mount as normal drives.
