Odepaj - I am not able to DL/open our link with either ifile or myfile from my 4S. I desperately need a cracked 1.8.2 appradio version. Thanks in advance

It's a plain old .ipa file, download it from your computer, delete the normal AppRadio app from itunes and replace with the cracked 1.8.2 then sync it to your phone.

I'll try that.... Thanks again

Incredible work. Can't wait for iOS6 update. Keep up all the great work!

Odepaj ~ I dwnloaded the package from your link and there is not a .ipa file in it at all..... just a whole bunch of differnent files along with a 10 second .avi film????

Does anyone else have a cracked version of appradio 1.8.2? I've been racking my brains trying to figure another way to revert back to 1.8.2. I actually have the orginal 1.8.2 on my itunes (my PC) but when I try to install it on my jailbroke 4S it starts and then pops up "Appradio can't not be installed" (just for information purposes - I did upgraade my appradio to 2.0 and then read this forum)

What are you doing to download it? You should only have to left-click the link, it's directed at the .ipa in my dropbox account. There's no way it's giving you anything else.

Have you removed the updated 2.0 from your phone before you try to install your original 1.8.2?

Edit: If you still have your original 1.8.2.ipa you don't need a cracked version. You just need to figure out why iTunes is saying it can't be installed.

To Odepaj ~ Yes I did remove it (from my iphone) before I hooked it to my computer with the original 1.8.2 on my itunes... No luck..... Same error...

To the "downloading your cracked version via dropbox" question ~ All I am doing it left clicking on your link from a window 7 computer and saving.. It savs as a .zip and once

extracted.... it has multiple files in it... but no .ipa file.

That is really strange, it should sync back to your phone just like normal?

Edit: Both links will now download as a zip file to make it easier for everyone.

The highlighted is your problem, the link is pointed directly at the .ipa file itself, no need to save it as a zip and extract it. If you have no option to save it as is, here it is in a zip file if you want to try it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wcn78oynqmtr2xq/AppRadio-v1.8.2cracked.zip?dl=0

Edit: I'm a little concerned that even a cracked .ipa might not install for you if iTunes is giving you problems with your original 1.8.2

Double edit: I'm not sure how strict avic411 mods are, but I'm sorry if this is to much hijacking in the thread.

So, I see another update to the appradio app today, I'm guessing it's another stay away job.

So the big question, with ios 6.1 jailbreak just about to be released (literally minutes) will this aid the update of app radio extensions and how is the progress coming on with ios 6.1 ???

Posted Feb 04, 2013 · 19:00 UTC#662

Today released jailbreak ios6.1 - this will speed output version AppRadio Extensions 2.1? compatible with 6.1?

Posted Feb 04, 2013 · 22:10 UTC#663

Yeah is there an update coming for 6.1?? I just did the Evasi0n jailbreak (which is the easiest most seamless jailbreak I've ever seen) and I desperately want AppRadioEx back!! Its been so long and I miss it so dearly. Mike????

Still working on it. I'll keep you guys posted.

Awesome!

Is iOS6 still an obstacle for running unsupported apps, or can the recently released Pioneer SDK provide a workaround?

It's still an issue. I don't have access to the SDK.

New to this app radio stuff can anyone help me?

I can't get this to work. iPhone 4 ios 5.1.1 AVH-P8400Bh

I followed all the instructions but when I hook up my phone none of the apps that I selected in the settings are visible on the AVH-P8400Bh screen?

great news Mike!

Hey Mike, a while back you mentioned that you were going to open source this extension. Has that been done yet? If so, where is the code hosted?

Hey does anyone know of a tweak in cydia that can make your springboard rotate and display in landscape mode through the appradio?

I've tried SB Rotator but it only rotates rarely to appear in landscape mode on the radio. All the other times it will appear rotated but in portrait mode on the radio. Mike Decaro has done some amazing work with App Radio Extensions. Just want to know if anyone knows how I can get my springboard and all the other unsupported apps that only allow portrait mode to appear wider and not pixelated on the radio? Or are there any futures plans for App Radio Extensions 2.0 to have unsupported apps like the home app that displays the iDevice's springboard appear in a bigger resolution? I'm currently on App Radio 1.8.2, Downgraded after finding out unsupported apps weren't functioning..

Does anything work for iOS6.1? Im mostly interested in the Siri function for texting and driving. I used it with iOS 5.

If I update my 4th gen iTouch to ios 6.1 jailbreak, will Appradio Extensions be more responsive/less laggy?  Also will the unsupported apps still function?  I'm currently on Appradio 1.8.2, so wasnt sure whether it was just the appradio app firmware or the ios firmware that affected appradio extensions functionality.

I never got around to posting it. It's still on the list, I've just been really busy so it got bumped down behind iOS6 and the AppRadio app update.

Everything should work except for controlling unsupported apps. You will just be able to display them until I find another workaround. The Siri functionality is still buggy but I'm definitely working on it. I use Siri a lot in the car.

Not sure about the lag (my iPhone 4 is a bit laggy, it's on the todo list). Unsupported apps will just be viewable for now (see the first post). It's a limitation in iOS 6. The latest AppRadio app and firmware will be supported.

Updated the first post with a beta for iOS 5. It should fix the disappearing icons in the latest AppRadio app update. Please don't try installing this on iOS 6. It doesn't work yet.

Scrolling through the apps lags for me. Does anyone else experience this?

IOS 6.1 AppRadio 2.0.1  I can only get the time and the battery percentage to work no Siri button.  Also every time I exit the AppRadio app the phone crashes and goes to safe mode.  Also I tried using AppRadio 1.8.2 but I only get a black screen on the AppRadio.  I do not have backgrounder installed.
