Can you see if Beta 6 fixes the issue?

Found out that the tweak "NoAccSplash" which disables the "Accessory Attached" splash screen that shows disabling the iPod app when you plug your iPhone into certain audio accessories. With this tweak enabled you just get a black screen on the AppRadio deck when the AppRadio.app is running. Other apps like Pandora worked fine but not the AppRadio App Home Screen.

iPhone 4S 6.1 Jailbroken

Did anyone else lose the ability to scroll in CarMediaPlayer after upgrading past beta2?  beta2 worked with the usual bugs, but every version after that prohibits me from scrolling vertically.

Sorry for double-posting; idk if that's still looked down on like it was on forums 10 years ago.   :-P

I can kinda scroll but it's not very smooth & fluid. I don't know how smooth it's supposed to be though because I just got my first AppRadio last night. Definitely tough to scroll even there and nearly impossible on the main apps screen.

So I'm wondering if anyone else experiences lag scrolling in the app screen. Everything responds just fine on the main screen, within apps, etc. but when I'm on the apps screen it's so hard to swipe between pages. I can tap icons okay and everything else just swiping through pages of apps it almost seems like it's not recognizing swipes... Like I said swipe gestures seem to work fine everywhere else just not on the apps page on the radio.

I lost the ability to scroll smoothly a while ago.

With this Beta6 I can't even get apps to load on the screen.  I have unistalled Appradio and Beta6 and reinstalled them both to no avail.

I've been reading all of the posts but haven't had time to look into/reply to them yet. I'll follow up later today.

Edit: Can everyone who is having problems post their iPhone model, AppRadio model, and AppRadio firmware version?

Can you see if Beta 6 fixes the issue?

Installed beta 6 and if i select the app using appradio app then it is still the small screen.  But if I home button after opening appradio app and select music or say spotify from the phone, then it will go full screen.  Just not when using app ext. to open it.

ok now I feel retarded too...I have the issue where I want to run Navigon but theres a message saying a licensing issue prevents navigon from displaying on the appradio.

Do I need a cracked version of Appradio or something?

Thanks guys,

Posted Feb 22, 2013 · 22:51 UTC#862

And I still cant find the firmware I am running on appradio 2. Anyone able to tell me where it is? Apparently its not under settings...no option for that.

Posted Feb 22, 2013 · 23:03 UTC#863

you will not know until you stick the usb drive in with the update.  I bout my appradio 2 in july and it had 2.11 on it.   There is no way to find out with out trying to upgrade.  Stupid.  Also use Windows not mac and format USB to FAT not FAT32 or NTFS. Dosent work when format with mac.

Parallels with windows works though. Virtual Machine

For now you will have to use the home button to back out of unsupported apps.  This is because there is no backgrounder to run appradio in the background.  That is what allowed the touch screen on supported apps in iOS 5.  The original AppRadio app needs to run in the background to use touch on unsupported apps and it does not. When this gets figured out then the black bars will bring you back to the Advanced app mode.  I used it with iOS 5 and it worked great. Backgrounder did that for us in the past but it is not compatible with iOS 6.  The developer abandoned it.  Someone needs to use his source code and update it for iOS 6.

Sorry about the premature post ^^

Hey guys. I'm on my phone so searching is a bit of a pain. Sorry if this is a repeat.

I have the latest beta of appradioex on 6.1 on an iPhone 4. I have the unsupported apps showing up. When I tap on one it launches, shows a bit then gives me that video watching warning. I don't have a bypass installed, but if I do the following, the apps will display.

Launch appradio app

Tap on unsupported app

Wait for warning

Tap home button on appradio

Tap apps on Appradio

Then press okay for the compatible apps warning.

You should now see the unsupported app

A bit of a pain, but it works(no touch support) :)

ive had the beta 6 installed since it came out and i have to say that over time the scrolling through pages of apps has gotten smoother over time. i think that it may had something to do with it loading all the unsupported app icons. i also found that it scrolls better if you swipe above the battery percentage or time.

keep up the work Mike. if theres anything i could do to help out let me know.

Any app that is selected in the "unsupported apps" list will show up on the display in a small windowbox.

Removing the apps from the list or torning "unsupported apps" to off fixes this.

(Also, google maps has a spinning circle of dots instead of it's normal icon.)
