I wish all of my purchases went as easy as this one. Great customer service and awesome overall experience.

Just got my Z1 updated to Z3 with new maps. I live close enough to have him do the install. He removed my old drive, popped in the updated one, and I was done in < 15min. Awesome customer service.

Thanks Garret.

I too had my pre-historic Z1 drive updated with Garret. Not only did he walked me to the removal of the drive (God didn't give me the technical gene), but he shipped it back the same day he got it!

For $50? You just can't beat this!

The end result is much more that what I expected. If you need to upgrade your Z drive, Garret is your man. Highly recommended.

I will have to say that Garret is very fast, professional and his quality is great. He updated 2 of my drives a Z3 and a Z1 to Z3 with updated maps. He even copied all my music off one drive and placed it on my other so both drives were mirror images. He emailed me when he recieved the package in the mail and later that day when they were be mailed back. Thank you

Just received my drive - I don't know what I was thinking by downloading the files and upgrading my drive my self - Garrett's service was awesome, the drive replacement simple - I can't recommend this enough! :D Thanks Garrett!!

Garret is just an all around great guy. I bought a 60gb drive from him so I could upgrade my Z2. I was passing through the Dallas/Ft. Worth area so I simply stopped by his place to have him do a quick swap. It took less than 10min for him to pop out my old drive and install the new 60gb drive, which I am more than happy with. There is simply no reason to buy the disc from Pioneer when you can also get all the extras included with one of Garret’s drives. If you are thinking about upgrading just do it. There’s no better person to deal with than Garret.

Add me the long, long list of satisfied customers of Garret's!

The whole process end-to-end could not have been more smoothly or professionally handled. Garret was always available with good advice, even when it wasn't specifically about the hard drive swap.

Also, a shout-out to "isubsmith" for the tip on using a needle nose vise grips to remove the stripped screws. I don't own a dremel and the cheaper grips route worked perfectly for me! Definitely order the screws from Garret -- totally worth the extra clams.

The whole thing is so cheap and painless, I cannot recommend it enough.

Thanks Garret!

Ok I've been with vehicle repairs and moving but WOW! I love it. Garret you are an excellent guy that I wish that I had met years ago. Would have done more business with you then and definately would recommend others to do business with you! Think about it...where else can you get a bigger hard drive with new maps for less than the upgrade discs themselves? No where. Thanks a lot for your help!:D:D

Got my 40 gig HDD from Garret. Awesome service, plug and play change out. Even included a nice little screw driver.

And included instructions on how to do all of this.

It doesn't get any better for service or value.

Thanks Garret!

Second drive I have gotten from him. The packing is very good and very complete. The first one went in like butter and worked perfect for my client. This one is to replace the drive in a Z1 that keeps locking up. If you want one or need one this is the guy to get it from.

Another happy customer. Amazing service with shipping. Installed in about 5 minutes. Screws are not a problem if you use the right size screwdriver. They will only be tight if the driver is too small. :D

I'll agree with all. The new drive works great, shipping was fast, and the overall experience was fantastic. I would recommend this upgrade to all.

It so easy, a cave man can do it! The whole process took all of 15 minutes for me to swap the drives, everything worked beautifully. It great having an updated system for only $137.

Thanks Garrett!

I always throw out the best and the worst reviews and read whats left with a grain of salt.

I threw out the best reviews and none were left!

The only bad thing I can think of with Garrett is the fact that he lives in Texas... JUST KIDDING!

The 60G HDD arrived earlier than promised and I put off installation until I had some time.

The install took nearly 10 minutes... whew... I had to take a nap after.

I will do business with Garrett again!!

ps I don't have enough music CDs to fill the drive... anyone want to loan me a few hundred??

Hi Garrett - sent you a PM, interested in purchasing upgrade for my Z1.

Thanks.

Posted Aug 10, 2010 · 23:47 UTC#273

Received my drive in two days.

Instructions (including warning about screws) worked perfectly.

My Z1 is now a Z3 and I received the credit for returning the drive ... all done within a week!

It doesn't get any better than this.

Thanks Garret! :D

Garret,

Do you have any plans on doing any upgrades to the new 2010 upgrade that is available?

Also while I have you is there anyway to take the drive out and get my cellphone contacts in there easily? Or am I stuck doing them 1 at a time through the Z1?

Thanks,

John
