i pretty much did the same thing... i bought the home a/v kit... cut out the lid of my ash tray cover enough so half the dock slides back into it... ran the wires through the back of the ash tray compartment... bought a cigarette lighter plug that had a female usb plug in so to charge an ipod or something with... then just plugged the sync cable the zune kit came with... i'll get pics when my d3 comes in... i have my wires ran just waiting on the unit to arrive
