phanon, are you running your stock speakers w/ the d3? how do they sound?

Mine is going into an 07 tC my only gripe will be the steering wheel controls since ive grown accustomed to having them. i hope the PAC unit works ok. Anyone use one on a tC?

yeah im running stock and sound much better than what stock head unit.

and I am using PAC SWI PS with mine. It works fine but pressing the buttons doesn't instantly respond. Seems like you gotta hold the button a second for it to respond.

Cant wait to install it on my tC, still waiting for my D3 which is on backorder from crutchfield.com. I have a factory bazooka sub, hope I can use that with this unit.

Hello, I wanted to know whhat you did to cover the holes on the left and right when the D3 is installed? I just installed mine this weekend and there are gaps on both sides. Thanks!

If you purchased from crutchfield.com they provided a free metra kit which fills the gaps on both sides. If you didn't, here's the link for that kit
