I met up with Matt yesterday to install a D3 in a '01 Pathfinder. He started the work on it and knew exactly what to do from start to finish. He had all the tools and was very quick and professional. The '01 nissan steering wheel controls were tricky but he got them to work without a problem.

I'm going with him again for a F series install on my g35. I highly recommend his work!

I highly recommend his work as well. He installed my D3 back on Memorial Day in my 02 Mazda Protege. He knew exactly what he was doing and what to look for. He was very quick but careful and meticulous. He made sure everything lined up perfectly and tested everything before he left. I would definitely use him again for future jobs.

Hey Guys,

Matt came out to my house on Saturday & did a great job uninstalling an AVIC-D3, XM & Bluetooth modules, rear camera & a hard-wired radar detector...it's like the 2nd or 3rd time he's come out to my place & done an awesome job...can't recommend highly enough if you're in the area & in need of an install/uninstall

I'm currently in Philly but my permanent address is about 10 minutes south of Morristown. I was wondering if you could PM with an estimate for a D3 installation for an 06 WRX. Thanks!

How is it that we have an 11 page topic about installations in New Jersey?

Posted Jul 15, 2008 · 23:37 UTC#163

Cause MisFit's work is that damn good, and yes I can personally vouch for his work, and his service. Definitely A+

Posted Jul 16, 2008 · 00:07 UTC#164

OK... I just though it was a bit odd that there was a stickied topic for installations in such a minute portion of the country...

Misfit -

You have PM about an install job. Thanks.

This is the second time I had Matt install a pioneer avic, this time around was a F90bt. This was the first F series install he did and of course he did a real good job. I had a backup cam installed with it too. As expected, the job was clean and couldn't tell he was in there at all.

The f90bt still has its issues though, although most of them I got used to like the long startup time. But as far as Matt's work, I highly recommend!

This is the second job I've had Misfit do for me, since he did such nice work the first time. Anyone who's had him do work for them knows what I am talking about.

My original review.

This time around I had him install a remote start, and rear DVD in my Acura MDX. As usual, he did a nice clean install. Didn't leave so much as a scuff mark. He was able to fabricate a bracket to give me a nice clean install for the rear DVD, so that it didn't need to hang low using the adapter plate they supply.

I also have the comfort of knowing that if anything is amiss, he is stands by his work. Not something you can say about most people these days.

If you are in NJ, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not giving him a call. His prices are very reasonable, and his work is outstanding. I usually do my install work myself, but if I need really clean work, I give him a call.
