Will be buying my D3 soon and would like to find out how much you will charge to install it.

Car: 2007 Odyssey LX

Options: Bluetooth, ipod cable, backup camera

I am considering a USB attachment, but don't yet know if I need it.

What else do I need to buy for installation?

I live in Staten Island, but work in Saddle Brook

I am also in East Brunswick on Thursdays.

Let me know

Thanks.

Hey Misfit, Awhile back we spoke and I was giving you too much to do in my driveway so you recommended that I go to a shop. I have since changed my mind and I would like for you to install my Avic Z1 Head Unit, with IPod Adaptor, Bluetooth, and Rearview Camera. I had more plans with the car, but I have heard so many good things about your work, I want you to do it. I will purchase the radio bracket. I also have the factory navigation which I would like to keep. This is a Bose System in the car. Can you send me a price quote?

I live in Red Bank and just ordered my D3! is it a pain in the ass to do it on a 97 cadillac deville concours?

Posted Jan 05, 2008 · 14:20 UTC#109

cant say ive done one in that car before. countrylvr79 could probably tell you a little better on that one

I have, jamming a single din in that car is enough of a pain in the ass. THere is no double din kit that I've been able to find for it. Which means a kit's going to have to be fabricated. Not a job for a newbie. Well if you want it to look good that is.

I had Misfit do the installation of a Kenwood navigation system in my Toyota Sienna. I was initially planning to go with the Z2 but then decided to go with Kenwood. The system has been working great for several weeks now. My initial plan was also to get installation done by BestBuy but after I found this thread I decided to go with Misfit based on all the good reviews. I would also recommend anyone to go with Misfit for installation.

Do you have any experience installing a back up camera on a 06+ VW Passat wagon? My installer out in Long Island feels guilty about the possibility of raking me over the coals to install one (and connect to a D3).

I was thinking of something nice and discreet, maybe one of the hitchcam products, either universalcam or unicam

P.S., I'm in NNJ, and can drive as necessary

I want to install Kenwood 7100, ordering it from Sonic, so they will provide free installation kit and harness for my car. I need your opinion on one thing though, I like the AVIC D3X which comes with bluetooth and Ipod ADPT, should I go with AVIC? or the kenwood?

I am in Carlstadt NJ. Please PM me with intallation price quote, if you could do that for me.

Matt (misfit) is on his way now to install a Viper 5900SST in my explorer. I will let you all know how it turns out. I cant wait

Posted Feb 18, 2008 · 19:43 UTC#121

Matt arrived as schedule and had the Viper installed in 90 min. True proffesional all the way! Even threw in a extra ford key! Will schedule with him to put in remote install on wife's CTS and a flip down screen in my explorer. Can't recommend him enough!

MisFit will be at my place installing a D3 in my truck :-) tomorrow

Matt came, what a nice job! Great price, great install. Fast, clean, professional worth every penny. Highly recommended. Unit looks great in my 08' F450.

Had Matt install a D3x into my Frontier today and everything went perfect. He was very professional, on time and more then easy to work with and answer any questions I had.

I would not hesitate to recommend him for any Automobile audio/video service.

Thanks again to him to the great work and for the Forum for supporting guys like him.

Greetings!

I'm glad to have found this forum. I'm looking for an in-dash navigation and thinking between Kenwood DNX7100 or the Pioneer D3 or Z2.

I would like to retain the ONstar functionality therefore I am getting a Metra harness (GMLAN) and only need to hook up a rear view camera.

I have a 2007 GMC Acadia.

Non-Bose system with factory radio installed, all speakers upgraded, aftermarket amp installed via line-out-converter.

By the way, i have not had my vehicle "touched" for a while by any installers..bad experience from the kids doing the install in CC..sub/amp installation landed my previous vehicle being towed to the dealership.. computer chip fried and others...was only able to take back my vehicle after a MONTH.

Please PM me with a quote. Thanks

It seems that you do a very good job with great reputation. Looking forward to work with you.
