So am I understanding right that all the functions of the Iphone Ipod work except the video? So I can't watch all those episodes of Family Guy on my D3?

is there a way to get my videos to display on my avic d3? i already have the settings on my iphone to go to "TV OUT" but it's still showing up on my iphone and now my d3.

No, video support of iphone or ipod touch is not supported with the D3 ipod cable. You can use the Apple Composite cable through the aux in but you will loose control of the iphone ipod functions from the touch screen of the D3.

Man sometimes I wish I didn't have a 3G iPhone and a 6th Gen iPod it really buts a damper on video playback and charging

I have an iPhone 3G running the latest software and it does not charge the unit. I have had a G5 Ipod Video hooked up to it forever and it worked flawlessly so I was wondering if if should be charging the phone or not. I read that previous versions were, so what is the current word?

Am I doing something wrong?

You need to buy a special connector to charge the 3G iPhone, and the newest iPods w/ the D3 there is a post about it in the iPhone/iPod section

Has anyone actually got the adapter (Scosche passPORT) to work on the D3 with the newer generation ipods or iphone 3g? I spoke to someone from Pioneer and they said it's the deck that doesn't support the new way of charging the newer generation ipods and iphone 3g. I myself purchased the adapter for my D3 and it got rid of the annoying message but it still doesn't charge.

Is it possible to bring up the keypad once I make a call using the D3? When I call a place that need me to enter an extension I can't do it with-in the D3 system.
