I do not see the point in updating the W4400 to the W4500.

Weblink is another dead-end application.
there’s nothing useful except watching YouTube videos.
not an original player is used for viewing, this is very bad.
It makes no sense to buy a 500 series, it’s enough to buy 400, I didn’t notice any more changes, except that I added the ability to display parking lines on the camera. It is strange that they removed it for x400, because this function is available for the European model of analogues x400.

But there is a great solution to upgrade the AVH-W4400 \ 4500 to AVIC with full navigation support. If interested, write to me at PM

I did not update the firmware in my W8400 to the W8500 version.

I have the Z9200DAB. Tried WebLink once, will never touch it again. Waste of time and effort. Will only use Android auto.

I agree with you that this is shit.  therefore I am updating AVH2AVIC.  AVH can be upgraded to AVIC without any problems.  only TMC will not work.  since there is no second tuner in AVH

AVH-z9100 is the European/Asian equivalent of W4400

Thank you very much. You went out of the way to help me step by step to install the sd card. My radio was dead in a loop. It is now working great and added with navigation and upgraded. Thanks again.

My avh-w4400nex  after the SD Card upgrade, radio was stuck on update screen.

I contacted ASD255 he remotely  configured my SD card and now I have Navigation and the radio qorks flawlessly. I highly  suggest if you have a avh-w4400nex  and its stuck in a loop to reach out to him.

If not message me a price for your defective unit im interested in buying more for my other vehicles.

How much does this sell for and who sells it?

Does avh2avic retain the ability to use maestro rr? I ask because I have a 4500 with bad SD card and I replaced SD with one that I flashed with the 4400 image floating around (modified for resistive touch) and it brought the radio back to life but now maestro rr doesn't talk correctly to it even after re-flashing maestro and making sure that maestro is configured with the serial number. Same SN on label and on-screen so flash didn't seem to affect SN.

If avh2avic does function correctly then maybe I'd be better off paying for that.

MaestroRR is compatible with AVH2AVIC
but you need to reprogram MRR

Does anyone know if this mod will work on my AVH-X8850BT?

Confirmed Test Mode works and made a backup of the internal SD.

Seems to be a 4gb internal so i am thinking i will need to get an 8gb to fit maps and such?

How would i go about installing a GPS antenna to support GPS functionality.
