I have a cable that connects to my iphone's headphone jack, on the opposite end of the cable it has 2 red and white RCA ends that I've connected to the "Audio Input" ports behind my Z1. I get nothing when I switch to AUX input on the Z1's interface. Am I missing something?

how well does Sirius Backseat work? Are they planning to add more channels like MTV, etc? Nice truck, do not understand 2 pioneer head units but what the hey, pretty nifty.

so I had the dash off, and I fondled the cabling behind the z1, and every component behind my dash. Somehow it cleared up, wonder if I moved something that was causing interference away from a certain cable? Any ideas guys, I know the problem will be back so I have to wait or jiggle the cabling until it unfixes itself. I want to get this figured out before I seal up my newly fiberglassed dash

what do you mean the OEM harness. There is a floating black wire in the F150's factory installed harness, or do you meant the Metra harness made for our F150.

I bought a high quality CCD Camera. Sometimes the picture is very distorted, it's either perfect or severely distorted. The camera is awesome, it's a CCD with amazing night vision. I routed the RCA video cable along the frame, and up into the cab. Could the bluetooth module be causing interference? What about the fact that the frame is "ground". Someone told me to try a better shielded cable, like a twisted pair RCA from Monster. The picture when not working is very dark, the colors are very murky and the screen is wavy, and noisy. But you can make out some things, so the camera is working

would not work too well considering we have no other options of input besides RCA. I don't imagine you can read much via RCA. Here at work our huge projector projects a picture that renders text illegible when using RCA or Svideo.

How difficult would it be to allow it to download songs or videos to the HDD from an ipod, MP3 CD, or even DVD. I'm real bummed I have this expensive head unit that has the capability to stream movies off the hard drive, and I cannot do it.

couple questions (looked on the first page, nobody asked). What are the benefits of the Z3 over Z1? Have they implemented Sirius Traffic yet? Is the Ipod add-on quicker? Are the graphic interfaces any different/quicker? Any new nav voices? Thanks in advance, I hate when people ask questions that have already been answered so I apologize if I did.

where the f does it give you that option. Tell me how to find it on the Z1 if that's the unit you speak of.

The z1 is telling me it's going to take 2 hours to get to a place that is 1hr away. It is usually off pretty bad, I've adjusted the regional settings to bump the speed limits but what speed limits work for most of you? I usually drive around 60mph and my readings are way off, especially in town readings.

I can get the GEX10 for free, however in this pic you can see one wire is damaged. Is this wire needed for the Avic Z1? I believe some wires are obsolete as this unit is compatible with many systems and I'm hoping this is one of the wires.

I'm interested too, I've got the sirius module on it's way. I wish I would have read this before :[
