First let me say that I have been installing Pioneer head units for about 15 years or so. I have installed many others brands as well BUT I always install Pioneer units in my personal vehicles. I have always felt they had superior sound to other units on the market. I was really on the fence about buying the 900BT over other nav units that I install on a daily basis but because of the price I decided to try one out for myself. For whatever reason we haven't installed one of these at my work yet so this is the first. The first thing that completely shocked me was that there was no infared

I just installed my 900BT in my car today and I paired my BB Storm using firmware .109 and the mic volume is so low people can barely hear me. I am a bit frustrated right now since the built in blue tooth is one of the major reasons I went with the 900bt.

Ok thx for the info. I talked to my Pioneer rep today and he said it would be no problem swapping the unit for a new one. I basically was just hoping the drive could be flashed or something to that effect.

I installed a AvicZ2 and I am having a issue with it. The customer says that when he turns the system on the unit turns on and then sticks on the Pioneer screen. If he turns the system off and then back on again the system will boot correctly most of the time. I am just wondering if there is any way to update the Z2's firmware or any other idea's as to what is causing this problem.
