The whole CD assembly is the problem...Pioneer Canada ask 550$ to repair it!

It's on Pioneer's hands right now. I'll let you know what the real problem is.

I know the 80dvd is a bit old, but I was wondering if there is anything I could do to fix that.

Hey guys, I'm the new owner of an Avic 80dvd. Unfortunately, the eject button doesn't work. It doesn't read the dvd either. Did you have the same problem with any other Avic? The problem seems to be the dvd support into the Avic. Any solutions or advices?
