Hey all, can I ask a stupid question? What exactly would be the point of accessing "Test Mode"? What can we as a regular user do with it? just curious..

I bought two of those cables, and they both worked with my wives iPhone 5 but neither worked with the iPhone 5S...

Everyone experiences this lol, sorry but they know about it and supposedly working with Pioneer to fix it. They said that the issue is coming from Pioneers code based on the crash logs I have sent them.

Yes I am using the Lightning cable with the HDMI cable and the Apple DV to Lightning adapter, and yes CarBrowser is full screen for me, and you are correct, its a little clunky but works well..

Unfortunately the answer to your question is NO. With the 150BH its either iPhone 5/s or Older 30 pin device. Two different cables and two different modes on the Unit. with the cables used for the iPhone 5/s the USB is strictly charge only. If you connect a 30 pin device like older iPod or iPhone 4S and below the option for the iPod WILL show up on the Unit and WILL "play" but you will have no audio. To ADD, if you use the 30 Pin cable harness, and attempt to use the Apple 30 pin to lightning adapter, you will get the same result, it will show, but will not play audio. Hope this help

I Also have the AVIC-Z150BH. I have the iPhone 5S running iOS 7.0.4. Just like above, but some differences. - Waze Rocks - Stezza = No issues for me, scrolls lists just fine - EC Touch = Crashes if you try to do anything, this is random, sometimes it works but rarely. They also sent me the Beta with no luck. - CarMedia browser seems to be the most stable, as I have had no issues at all with it, it does Music, Movies from your phone. - Pandora works fine for me. No hangs on station search.

Hello all, I purchased two of the white cables that some people posted on AppRadioWorld on the home page for my iPhone 5s, neither of them worked, BUT they did however work with my wives iPhone 5. So for those looking for a black cable that works with the iPhone 5S this was a great deal.

Unfortunately you cannot do this. With the 150BH it is one or the other. When trying to use the dock to lighting connecter you will lose "App Mode", the iPod option will be available but will not play the music. I know this from experience, I tried exactly what you are attempting to do. I am not sure this is a Pioneer limitation or an Apple lightning issue.
