  1. LOL you guys are hallarious!!! WELL to me a car is a car!! Some take 8-13 minutes to put a radio in others take 3 days lol.... i actually perfer working on exotics and european cars thats the joy of working at sound advice we get to see higher end cars and do it! BUT i would say the one car that i was just so fustrated on ended up being a Bugati Veryon Yes the worlds fastest car there is just no room to move in the car!! ABSOLUTELY NO WIRING INFO!!! ANYWHERE the manufactuer is like good luck let us know how it goes... Lamborgini in las vegas said hmmmm couldnt tell ya took me 4 days ended u
  2. SORRY MAN forgot one thing if you dont feel like going throught all the b.s. of getting this module and they want to keep trying and trying all this trial and error which apparently they have no clue!! YOU CAN DO IT THE OLD SCHOOL WAY!! which is ACTUALLY the safest and most effective way in any car these modules are great but arent always effective!!! THE OLD SCHOOL WAY is they have to take the radio out EXTEND ALL THE LEADS!!! Hide the radio in the car... and much much more to do it the correct way lol any questions hit me up
  3. OKAY!!!!!! HERE IS THE SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM!! First the say the CANBUS PEICE DOSNT have enough power?!?! Sounds like someone is b.sing you i am an installer at sound advice have been for about 6 years now!!! ANY INTERFACING PEICE FROM SOUNDGATE IS A POS!!! THE COMPANY that makes an amazing CANBUS peice that i have never had an issue with and i do alot of cars is from a company called AAMP of america their website is n.stotts@yahoo.com
  4. Hey man last time i recal there was no resistor inline with the purple white wire for reverse light!?! The only thing ive ever had to do on some cars is put a diode inline on a bentley arnage, ferrari f 430 just because it had so much interferance in the line but 99% of the time you dont have to do anything just cut a peice of wire and run it
  5. MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER!!! THINK smarter not harder like pearl95c said on the avics you dont need to use the vss wire!! The pioneers pick it up just dosnt have the exact location all the time and you will notice a lag and delay without the vss wire hooked up..... or a peice called CAN-VSS it automatically produces a VSS wire tach wire and much much more if the car dosnt have the vss wire just have to make sure its on a can bus system possibly might be a LAN data now all the new GMS are going that way
  6. Hey man yea the GMOSO1 will allow you to interface the bose, onstar and door chime features!! You will lose the rear audio controls... THE only way to keep the steering wheel controls is to get an SWIX from pac or the Pioneer SWIX they are both a steering wheel interface you have to program!! NOT the funnest thing in the world have to do programing!! and grab the steering wheel control wire i can tell you which wire it is and where it is if you go that route! REAR seat entertainment YOU WILL LOSE!!! UNLESS!!!!! You take the flip down down... and have to look if it has a video output you
  7. Your parking wire is yellow (-) and is located at the parking brake... Your VSS wire is white/blue and located under the dash in the data link plug if you dont know which plug that is... when you look under the driver side dash it stares you in the face where you would plug an aftermarket computer in... Also your reverse wire is RED/GREEN there is two locations you can grab it it is in the driver kick panel in a 38 pin plug it is pin location 8 also you can grab it at the tail light and just run the wire through the car... also one other place you can grab pull up the driver side
