  1. And I am in Vancouver, together we have the 3 Navtraffic Canada regions covered
  2. When do you guys think the GEX-P10XMT will be available in Canada. My local Pioneer dealer tried to get it and was told it was not available in Canada. I would assume they would need to get these in inventory soon, if this will be compatible with XM Radio and Navtraffic Canada.
  3. I wonder if the GEX-P10XMT be compatible for use with the Navtraffic Canada service as I was thinking of buying one now in advance, activating the radio service now and the traffic later once available in Canada.
  4. Hey all Any Canadian users here that have subcribed/activated a US XM Radio account WITH Navtraffic for use in Canada? If so are you using the GEX-P10XMT and how did the activation process go? I know you can activate regular XM Radio online but what if it is in conjunction with a XM Navtraffic subscription? I am in Vancouver and I know there is coverage for US users here as well as in Toronto and Montreal. Any info appreciated!
  5. Ok so the XMT unit does both where as the XM unit does only the sat radio. Thanks.
  6. Hey all, Which Pioneer tuner for XM Radio/XM Navtraffic do I need for the Avic-D3, THE GEX-P10XMT or the GEX-P920XM? Thanks!
  7. Ah I see, well let's all cross our fingers for the pioneer in store option...
  8. Glad to hear it worked for you...and hopefully this thread might help some other people as well.
  9. Thanks, and where do you buy them?
  10. Hey all, Just installed my D3 this past Friday, I am wondering once updated discs are available (2008) how do we get them? If we register the D3 with Pioneer does that allow for free discs, or do we have to buy them somehow? Also what is the registration process? (my car is in the shop and my books are in storage now) Any info appreciated, thanks.

I don't have my car currently and the box/books are in storage, but how do you register the unit?

  13. -Downloaded and installed Alcohol 120% free trial http://www.free-downloads.net/programs/Alcohol_120_ -Launched program DVD COPIER inserted DVD NAV CD -Copied DVD as image to the Alcohol virtual drive whish took about 25 mins -Inserted Blank Fuji Film DVD DL + R 8.5 GIG -Burned disk about 40 mins
  14. I was able to do it last night using alcohol 120 and some fuji film 8.5 gig DVD DL + R's.
  15. Hi, probably so. Is it a acronym for saving a copy/image of the file/disk to the pc? I haven't burned many cd's in the last 3-4 years as now that I have an iPod I really don't need to anymore. However the good news is I was able to successfully burn two copies of the Nav CD on my 1st go at it. I then tried them in the D3 and thy seem to function fully. I used alcohol 120% and it worked great. I initially tried with Sonic, but for some reason it wouldn't read the DVD DL + R I inserted in the drive (Fuji Film 8.5G), I kept getting an error "no disc in drive" etc.
