OK, I have tried all sorts of image sizes but I can't figure this one out. 1000x480, 500x240, 500x281 even 2592x1944 as per the manual - which is completely out. Nothing works. The height of the image is always stretched ! I am trying to use this one that has been uploaded via another post. The Mercedes emblem always ends up taller than it is wider and looks crap. Any ideas ? [/img]

I am having all sorts of problems. Now noticed sometimes its says Satellite connected ok, but no satellites hooked up. See my other post. Maybe a poor GPS physical connection or wire trapped ? I'll check over the w/e. Failing that a new unit as it is only 3 weeks old. Cheers Adam

What colour should the GPS signal strength bars be in the Hardware menu ? I have about 6 orange bars and a couple of reds - should they be green ? Cheers Adam

I have also noticed that the Speedo reading in the vehicle dynamics display has a message over it saying 'Not available'. This is only for a few seconds at a time although it looks like the Slope gauge is permenantly stuck on 0.3 Could it be losing the GPS signal or a faulty gyro sensor ? I also checked the GPS and VSS in the status screen and they are always ok ? I have also just done a full (method 3) reset + 3D cal reset and that didn't help. Would method 4 be better, I did method 3 because I didn't want to lose my map address settings. Cheers Adam

The top row in the 3d calibration status reads speed then has bars for the distance traveled. Now and again the speed resets to zero and the distace bar goes back to the start. The learning status reverts to 'sensor initiallising' This lasts for a few seconds then goes back to normal. The other rows, distace, right, left, 3d detect, speed pulse are all ok. In the top row, where is the speed reading taken from? Should the status bars eventually all make it to the full position? While all this happens the map display movements are not as smooth. Are you still bored at work? Your images look awsome. Can you knock up a simple Mercedes splash screen like on the mercedes nav unit ? Maybe a tad snazier but nothing over the top. Its for a Z2, best resolution you can do would be great, Thanks Adam

Anyone know the image size / ratio for a splash screen image. I have tried the usual 500x240 but it stretches the image out of shape. I was using one of the mercedes logos and the star is displayed too tall and skinny ? Adam
