I have had this on and off since I purchased the unit 5 years ago but it used to be very intermitant. The refresh of the map is very slow and jerky, about 1 second to refresh and now it happens more often than not. Back 5 years ago I tried a complete new unit and GPS receiver but it was the same - in the end I just put up with it as it didn't happen that often. - Usually only over 80mph and it would go back to normal 10 mins later. If you change the map screen to the dials, speed acceleration etc, now and again messages will pop up over the acceleration and speed dial saying these

I guess no one has the Europe maps then....... edit - maybe Jaloga has them

Is this Europe or Russia ??

Was this available anywhere ? The link above seems to be for the CDNV100MT - for the Avic D3 etc, not the Avic HD...

Can any camera be used on the HD3, (Z3 in the US), the Pioneer camera is a stupid price. Do they have to be PAL/NTSC or does it not matter ? Are there any specs available for the Pioneer camera Cheers Adam

Thanks, There is an ORBPOINT.dat file, obviously uncomressed from the speed camera install together with ORBBLOCK.dat The contents look like they are probably just gps locations in hex but I'm not sure how they are coded or even if they are encrypted. Cheers Adam

Can anyone who has an image of their drive and no speed camera database installed have a look at their USER partition. There several files relating to the speedcamera database. I just want to know the file names and sizes, Cheers Adam

The data is the last one TeleAtlas produced - 2007. Does fixed cameras in the UK only - Still accurate in my view. Guess it could be modified though. It is written to a CD then inserted to the HD and automatically installs.

I have the speed camera data for the UK, I am looking for the UK/European map upgrade.

I realise it won't try to connect to the old phone automatically but with the Z you have to tell it which one you want to connect to. I have 3 phones in the list that I use + 1 old one which has the same name as another. Just wanted to remove the 'dead one' to make it simpler as I can never remember which is which. Is there a directory on the drive specific to the registered phones ? Cheers Adam

Then I'll end up with 3 phones on the system ! Maybe I can find them on the hd (unlocked) and delete them that way, Cheers Adam

I have changed my phone. My new one has the same name ie Adam. I have registered it to use it with blue tooth and it works fine. However, I now have 2 phones called 'Adam' in the Info/Phone menu How do I delete the old registered phone ?
