  1. ah, that will be more difficult, you could try appcake? Otherwise... I can't help you.
  2. Read up a page or 2 and you should find the instructions to download old versions of App Extensions.
  3. Make sure the SD card is formatted in fat32 or fat16. No other filesystem format. Do you have a PC you can try to put the files on from? Small chance but it might work. try calling them, i sat on hold for 5 minutes the first time and 20 the second but they helped me both times.
  4. Are you extracting the files from the ZIP file or just putting the zip file on the SD Card? It sounds like its not seeing the files. Thats probably why you would get a ---.---- instead of a ucom number. The 5.1 firmware needs the Navteq update T1000-20495. Are you sure that is the Navteq you used to update before? If it's not then maybe you need the 4.6 x940bt firmware. You can also call pioneer customer support and they will probably help you. They have helped me with my firmware and iphone 5 kit problems.
  5. Alright, I figured it out. You have to set the stereo to vga mode from 30-pin to use the lightning cable. Its in the firmware update instructions but not in the CD-IV202NAVI instructions. This is what I did. 1. turn stereo on 2. go to sources 3. press off 4. go to settings then AV Settings 5. make sure the connection is set to iphone 6. go back to AV Settings 7. go to Ipod Settings and select VGA. Poof, works.
  6. Have not been able to find any info on this. I have a x940bt and its been running with an iphone 4s for awhile, I bought the CD-IV202NAVI and the Apple Lightning to VGA adapter so I could use it with my iPhone 5 on ios 7.0.4JB. I updated the firmware to 4.6 from pioneers website and installed the kit. I set it up and it would not connect to the iphone through the Lightning to VGA adapter but if I removed it and just plugged the lighnitng to USB cable in, iPOD would show up but not with the lightning to VGA adapter. Of course I didnt have video so I spent hours trying to figure what
  7. Darn.... Correct me if i'm wrong here, the compatible apps screen, inside the appradio app on the iphone, looks identical to the to the appradio app on the reciever itself(see photos). Is it not doing the same thing as display out just adding touch? Or did they just make it look the same? If it is doing it the same way, is there a way to hijack it or duplicate it?
  8. Mike, if you're listening, I read on your twitter "@tweakrandom Not yet. I need to figure out a new way to mirror apps to the head unit.". Are you having problems getting the mirrored image to display or the touch input to work? I was messing with ios 7 and AP Extensions, and DisplayOut. AP Extensions, obviously doesn't work with ios 7 but, DisplayOut does work very well with ios 7. If you're having problems with the image mirioring, perhaps you can look in to how DisplayOut does it or use DIsplay Out with your app and simply make the touch input on the AppRadio work to the ios screen?
  9. Appradio extensions(this thread) is a way to make your Appradio deck work just like your iphone/ipod. It will have the same screen and functions as your iphone. It basicly just puts your ios screen on the deck screen instead of using only certain pioneer apps. Its pretty cool and actualy makes the appradio worth while. Check out the following video to give you an idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l1woaiMGmQ 30 seconds in is where you'll see the real functions of AppRadio Extensions BTW, I will donate again if and when it works with ios 7!
