I tried to follow this direction, but ran into a problem. The large white connector is not used on my unit - the smaller black connector is used. There are no open pin slots. The light green wire has a parking brake label, and it connects back into the vehicle with the cable-tied bundle. The pink wire has a car speed signal input label and it is not connected (the pink wire just ends).
My X850bt unit definitely locks out gps entry in motion. I don't recall putting on the parking brake to enter anything - being stopped was sufficient. So, I don't know what wiring mods might help.
