  1. Okay... 175GB of music, say an average of 5MB per track (high quality compressed) gives you over 35,000 tracks. About 2500 hours of music, or 3.5 months solid listening. In other words I think you need to learn to organize your music collection a little bit better. Or you could have just used and Android phone and 128GB SD card or wireless NAS. With the SD card you could carry your vast collection with you everywhere.
  2. Maybe it is the iPhone. The Android stuff seems to work a lot better. You can fix all the issues that the OP mentions with free apps for Android. Even things like the Bluetooth pairing I think can be fixed using Tasker.
  3. Thanks, that's all I needed to know. You have been really helpful!
  4. Thanks a lot guu, that is exactly what I wanted to know! It sounds ideal for me then. One more question if you don't mind. In mix mode what happens when you get spoken directions from Waze? Does the radio volume drop down or do they just get mixed at equal volume? Seems like it would be hard to hear the directions otherwise. Again, thanks for this, it is very much appreciated.
  5. Thanks for checking, I really appreciate it.
  6. Thanks for the information. What meant was how does the radio function work. You know, not the phone music player, the FM radio built into the head unit.
  7. I'm thinking of buying an App Radio, probably V3, but have a couple of hopefully simple questions. I'll be using an Android device, probably a Galaxy S3, if it matters. Firstly, does it remember what radio station you had playing when you turn it on? My factory radio just comes on when I turn the key, no messing about with buttons. Secondly, in App mode if say you have Waze running and spoken directions come on does it mute the radio? Or do you just have to pick one or the other? I suppose I could tell Waze to always use the phone's speaker. Any advice would be appreciated. Most of
