A few months ago crackhead clowns stole my 110bt.... At first I was pretty upset but the good folks at GEICO not only fixed my dash and got me a replacement 850bt until I was able to get the 8000nex... Every dark cloud has a silver lining....

As if anyone needed a reason to get a Pioneer Head Unit already.... Just glad I have my 8000 in my 05 Tahoe.....

Just bought the avic8000nex a couple weeks ago and I LOVE this head unit.... Was wondering which lightning cable is better? The CD IU52 or Apple's?

I gather you prefer Alpine over Pioneer.... Why?

Thanks a bunch for this trick. It worked perfectly on my 8000. It even cleared that EULA screen when I tried to use the NAVI. My advice to anyone using this device make sure you follow this setup very carefully. If the parking brake bypass isn't working you won't be able to use the NAVI, the Appradio function, the HDMI feature, anything.
