1. i dont know how to get the background to work 2. why are my Divx files not working? is there a patch i need to install?

i just got a 4000 also. its not playing my Divx files. had any luck with this? oh by the way, i use a 4GB flash drive and it works fine

this problem is getting worse, now the system blanks out, i have no control over any function untill it wakes back up, but the movie, or music will continue to play when the screen blanks out

what screen do you have it hooked up to, you need a touchscreen for that disk

ok i have this combination in 2 cars now and both seem to do this flickering effect on any bumps. if i hold the screen it doesnt do it. and this only on the map screens. movies and dolphins is fine. i used to have the 90DVD on a AHV6400 and there was no problem

so could there be something mechanically wrong with my system?

well the wire was grounded, but its possible that it came ungrounded. but would that cause the screen to go white when i do a POI search?

HELP folks...is the DVD bad or my system?

well the downgrade steps worked, im back to square 1. so why can i not enter new destination? its grayed out. all i can do is map search

40MT i believe, i think i figured it out. the system is looking for a touchscreen and my 6400 is not. im going to try to downgrade the system.

i have a AVIC90DVD on a 6400 screen. about 3 weeks ago the navigation stopped working. i could see real time but no longer add new destinations, and if i picked POI the screen would go blank then turn white. so i was hoping the DVD was bad. well i bought a newer DVD on Ebay. not a copy but original. Loaded it and it appeared to update the system. after 2 status bars finished, the system reset. now its saying i have in invalid dish, please replace with correct disk. and my old disk does the same thing. worse than that, the radio and CD and DVD features are all locked out too.. HELP!!!!
