  1. Yesterday it started getting really bad reception. Almost a constant "Acquiring Signal." This morning it worked for about 10 minutes then cut out back to "Acq Signal". If it is bad is there a better replacement for it? Or should I just find a New one somewhere since they are discontinued? Thanks.
  2. This will happen if your IPBus connection is backwards. Make sure the OUT is going to the Avic
  3. The illumination wire in the harness does not work. According to some people in the Trailvoy forums the headlight switch will not contain the wire I need as well. Apparently I can either tap into a brown wire under the dash which is very hard to find or a parking light wire. The brown wire is in the middle of a 50 wire harness and there are another 8-10 browns.
  4. I haven't grounded it to the chassis. Hopefully that is the issue. I will do that when i get the parking light wire routed through the firewall.
  5. When my Trailblazer engine is running I get like light vertical waves moving accross the screen, very easy to see on a static image. Kind of looks like the effect you get when a power cord is too close to a monitor. When the engine is off they dissapear. It look horrendous if there is a one color background. Any ideas?
  6. I will give it some time. But just in case how can you reset 3D calibration settings?
  7. 2007 Trailblazer. I haven't noticed this at all in the past week or so. Even did a 500 mile trip and nothing.
  8. Installed the bluetooth adapter last night. This did require me to take the D3 out of the dash etc. Now when I checked the connection status I'm getting a "Excessive Vibration" reading. Is this because I tipped the D3 all around when I removed it out of the dash and reinstalled it etc. The 3D calibration did not lose it's settings. It's mounted the exact same way before I took it out. Nothing has changed. Would resetting the 3D calibration memory fix this? Thanks.
  9. Got the BT adapter in today and it needs a power connect. It doesn't get power from the IP Bus.
  10. Great idea. I'll just setup Smartlists to narrow down the Artists etc. Such as "Artists A-D" Thanks Hifi. Guess I wasn't thinking outside the box!
  11. Is there a problem with tapping into the 12 memory wire coming from the factory harness for all of the extras like Sirius, bluetooth etc? Would it be to much draw? Also do the Sirius tuner and the Bluetooth box need the memory wire or the switched wire?
  12. I was referring to the iPod interface. I guess I'll have to live with scrolling through alphabetically. thanks!
  13. Oh my does this take a long time. Is there a better way to look through songs, artists, albums etc other than just the down-down button?
  14. Thanks Marc. Where exactly is this harness? Under the steering column? Why would the GMOS-01 harness have me hook up the Orange/White avic wire if it's not even working... Strange.
  15. Apparantly the GMOS-01 is supposed to bring the illumination to the AVIC. Which it did because I hooked it up. But it's not working. What are the Trailblazer owners doing?
  16. I've seen many questions on the illumination issues and have read them all. Unfortunately I was unable to find the answer I'm looking for. I just installed an AVIC-D3 in my 2007 Trailblazer (without Bose). I used a GMOS-01 harness which instructed me to hook up to the orange/white illumination wire on the Avic which I did and tested for continuity. However my illumination is always Off in the hardware info. I've read even though I have auto headlights this should still function properly. Anyone with a Trailblazer and GMOS-01 harness have any luck with the Illumination? What could I
  17. How could I have not noticed this before I installed the stereo though? So I should not be worried that I wired something incorrectly?
  18. Static shock. Not continuous. If I sit in the driver's seat (cloth) and really move around in it then get out I can get a really good shock. I have not tried disconnecting the battery at the battery box would take awhile to get to etc. What would this tell me? I should note that I tried disconnecting the radio from the harness and the shock still occured. It seemed when the harness was plugged in it started to happen.
  19. When I set my feet on the ground and exit the vehicle I go to shut the door or touch any metal and get a shock! The D3 itself is working properly as well as the the Sirius PNR2 unit. Onstar works perfect as well. Is it not grounded correctly? How would I find the short if there is one. Here is how I hooked everything up: I used a GMOS-01 Harness. I used the bypass mod and grounded the parking brake wire coming from the AVIC and the MUTE wire which I moved to the above PIN (Tested the AVIC with no errors and plays DVD's while driving). I grounded them to the harness Ground
