Hello there everyone, haven't talk much on here since I have been gone for the holidays but now just wanted to post some opinions / questions out there for you guys/girls. Let me begin by saying on the Pioneer web page, the CES is coming up, which means there going to show a line of all new products im assuming. Hoping that the reveal some new technology for the D4 and N models, im waiting on buying a head unit at the time. Logical move by myself ? I hope... Just curious to your thoughts on this CES show. I am looking at either buying a D3 or N4 after Christmas and well with both being a good unit to buy, I was wondering what kinda price am I looking at paying for a N4, if im looking for the best deal.

So .. if I wanna play ps3 or something.. i would plug that directly into the back of the unit ?

Thanks for the help guys, I have an Ipod that I use often but its the 30gb so im thinking of upgrading soon. The interface for the Ipod I heard is damn good, and I know the nav system for the d3 has to be good, I mean its pioneer. I was looking at the N4 last night, and I just noticed that there wasnt much of a difference, other than one is a flip out screen and u pay the extra like 300 for that, so i found it to be pointless. Thanks for the help.. looking to buy mine soon.

Does the Avic-d3 have a hideaway brain for easy access to the audio/video package ? Sorry, just curious for buying sake. Thank you

Hello everyone, Im wondering what is truley the diffrence of the two systems. The d3 and the N4 are same design just paying more the the flip out screen feature. Im going off of the information I have read and the Pioneer guids you can find online, but maybe I can get some diffrent opinions from the users. If one was looking into buying one of thses systems, which system would probably be the better one to look into for the money? Do N-serires have any major problems ? Thank you for your help.

What do you think would be a considerbable good deal money wise on: D3 - Z1- Z2- ? I see them all being decent high numbers .. but if I was looking to get one, price wise what am I looking at here ? Would saving for a Z series of some kind be a good move ?

Nice, Z2 does have some better qualities to it, but then again nothing perfect, besides for both you have to pay for the extra features anyways. I have an ipod so the D3 should be a good buy. The D4 if you say is coming out soon, then I should wait to see what price where looking at, and what features are coming with it. The D3 looks to be a good buy, I found a good price on one as well, so I would prolly get it with in the next month.

Hello, I have done some homework on the Avic-d3 and im liking what I see, but to be honest, I dont know if it is truly the right buy for me. I wanna be able to listen to music, and if need be go to nav without having to stop what im doing on the unit. Also i hear there are some problems with the nav, which blows cause that is a big reason why this appeals to me. Im either looking to get the d3 or wait a year and save some money and get the z2. Any opinions out there on this product that I can get would be great. Thank you, Forret
