I don't believe the TV tuner is compatible with the D3. I think you have to hook it up to the DVD player through the ibus. But I still think you wont be able to control it through the D3. There is a thread that that was discussing this like a couple of days ago.
I dont really get the point of having one. What are you going to do watch the 6'o clock news while driving? Your only going to get like one or two channels. Save your money, Sirius is coming out soon with a option in which you'll get a couple tv channels through them.
I had a Viper 7900 installed in my old car and they did a crapy job. The guy didnt hide the brain for the alarm deep into the dash. He put it close to the floor of the car.
I figured out the problem. Here is the way it has to be wired per pac parts web site incase anyone else has this problem.
The factory amplifier accepts two channel audio only. The
amplifier fading is controlled by data communication from the factory radio. Therefore the aftermarket radio will not have the
capability to control the amplifier. Please connect the Front outputs of the aftermarket radio to the Rear inputs of the 22 pin
connector. This will allow the Navigation unit voice prompts to be heard. The rear speaker outputs of the radio are not used.

When I set a destination, I get no volume from the unit of when to make turns. Can anybody help me out? By the way im a newbie, this is my first post but I read this forum everyday. Thanks!
