Ya thats what I thought. Its gonna cost me $200 to tear out the dash and put in the maestro kit.

What version of ios are you running?

I just installed a 5000nex. I am running ios8.3. I don't use spotify but I have not had one issue that's been mentioned and no bugs to mention. It's a bit underwhelming and I definitely don't feel like I can't live without it but I look forward to its evolution. Pros: runs smooth. Nice interface. Very "clean" Cons. Not much 3rd party app integration. The audio on calls is absolutely terrible!

I obviously didn't do my homework. I had a 5000 nex installed in my f150 using a harness that did not retain sync. This did not bother because the nex features overlap. The only problem is now my secondary display only shows the temperature and says dvd in the corner. Otherwise it is a dead screen. This drives me nuts. Other than tearing into my dash and replacing the harness is there any way to get any info, even a clock, to display on this screen. Any help would be extremely appreciated.
