Not that this helps in any way but my N1 has exactly what you want. I only get info in the top portion of the screen. I'm looking for what you don't want, I would prefer the logo's and everything to appear .

I have the N1 and the P920XM unit. I have the not connected signal on the XM Status screen. I checked the manual and it says nothing about it. How do I get the status information on the actual XM status screen on my N1?

You have to get used to the way the DVD function works. When you put your DVD in hit the touch screen button in the lower left hand portion of the screen (it's a right arrow type button). Push that until you get the arrows that take up the right portion of the screen. With those arrows and that enter button you can navigate through the DVD menu.

To clarify were the units you guys bought new or open box. If they were open box then there is nothing to complain about. If they were new then return it. I wouldn't want a new unit that people took stuff out of.
