SPEED 1

The sound suddenly went out on my d2. I went into the gas station and when I came back out the only sound that I had was the subs. Everything works fine just have no sound from front and rear speakers Any help is appreciated thanks The system has been installed for a little over a year

Hey Gnat did you ever get the cable that you needed I bought a av-bus cable but my av-bus input does not come on. I did the mod that you have posted here on this fine forum, I get sound but I get no picture. The cable that I got is CD-AB301E, and it looks to be the correct one but it doesn't turn on the av-bus. I have the pins connected correctly. What do you do with the silver shielding that's inside the cable isn't that a ground or something. I get picture when I connect the osd cable from the 7000tv to my headrest monitor. Can you help me please? Otherwise it's just tv for rear seat passeng

I connected everthing the way you did and my av-bus must not be coming on, all I get on the screen is the channels and the tv station's audio. When you cut the av-bus cable in half what did you do with the silver wiring that's all around the entire wiring, isn't that like a ground or something? I get no picture on my d2 but when I connect the osd from the 7000tv to the headrest monitor I get a picture. Are there different av-bus cables? The one I got has the correct pin count and it plugs right into the d2, and also if I'm getting sound and a picture on the headrest monitor that means that the

just followed instructions from a post in this forum i get no picture on d2 screen but when i connect 7000tv to headrest monitor i get picture. grounded pin 12 to 20 in green connector on 7000tv and also connected pins 1 and 2 in av-bus to a rca jack and pin 12 to 12v and i get no picture on the d2. So i'm thinking that my av-bus is not powering up someone please help me my truck is torn all apart pleeeeeeeeeaseeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys I followed the directions from a previous thread on how to connect the 7000tv to the avic-d2 and i get sound but no picture i sent the 12 volts to the av bus but i still get nothing. what should the 7000tv be set as av master, ip-bus,or add on mode. help me please

HEY GUYS I'M NEW TO THIS FORUM. I HAVE AN AVIC-D2 AND I PURCHASED A GEX-P7000TV THINKING THAT IT WOULD JUST CONNECT TO MY D2. I WAS ABOUT TO RESELL THE TUNER UNTIL SOMEONE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS FORUM. SO AFTER LOOKING I PURCHASED A AV-BUS CABLE AND BEFORE I CUT THE CABLE I WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE COULD TELL ME IF THE WIRES INSIDE OF THE CABLE ARE COLORED SO I WILL KNOW WHICH ONE TO CONNECT TO THE RCA PLUG THAT IM GOING TO ATTACH TO THE END OF THEM, AND WHICH ONE I SHOULD SEND TO 12v, ALSO IN NEED TO KNOW WHICH PINS ARE 12 AND 20 IN THE GREEN CONNECTOR ON THE GEX-P7000TV SINCE THEY SHOULD BE ATTA
