my friend bought a Z2 (i myself have a D3 in my truck), but it was "open box" at CC and did not come with the "RCA plug" (ie the one next to the main pioneer one that has all the RCA inputs and outputs and mute wire). anyone know a good place to find those? google search brings up one vendor on ebay that has them for $40. is that reasonable? sure doesn't seem like it to me... also, any consequences of not having that hooked up and starting the unit? thanks in advance

i just put one in my 06 frontier... went pretty smooth, where'd you hook up your reverse wire? did you hook up your VSS line?

got it all put in, did not run the VSS for now. i may take it back out and clean up the install later, i just wanted to get it done yesterday. next question, forgive a n00b because i looked and couldn't find a definite answer: will the USB adapter work with my Zune? for now i've got it run in on AV-1 but i'd love to have it hidden and charging

got another question... my speedo is off since i have larger than stock tires, though not by much, is it going to mess up my D3 or throw off it's operation if it gets a conflicting message from the sat and my truck? should i bother to hook up the VSS? no?

sup guys (gals?) my name is patrick, i have an 06 Nissan Frontier and am getting my D3 via the "brown truck" tomorrow and hopefully putting it in. i've done several stereo's but never any dvd/nav systems so we'll see how it goes. i have pioneer 6x9's up front and 6.5"s in the rear. got a kenwood 400w amp pushing a pioneer shallow 8" in a custom box between the rear jumpseats as well. i look forward to the D3 i've wanted one for a long time and finally found "the right price". i'll be browsing around tonight "doing my homework". i'll hopefully be posting my pics of the install tomorrow night if
