  1. Can anyone pls help? Under the file maitenance option I found the format options however when it asks me to confirm the format it says press Navi. However there is no Navi button on the unit or on the remote. I am truly stuck here but feel so close. Please help!
  2. Though the steps to get into my D3 service menu are only slightly different, I was able to access the 3 service menu screens outlined. Where I get lost is im not sure exactly what steps to take to downgrade to my old 70 series discs. Maybe I am missing a thread somewhere but any help would be appreciated... Thx!
  3. Thanks everyone for all the great info here. Hoping someone can help me out. Im not all that familiar with FTP/Torrent/ISO etc? And there is a lot of instructions for me to get lost in here. Is anyone able to create a "Update Disk for Dummies" or somehow condense the information out here into a simple to follow thread? Im not trying to be lazy im just really lost and would love an opportunity to get this update. Thanks!
  4. I would suggest you nab the D3 from CartronixPlus online. Harness and dash stuff from crutchfield and then the Traffic NAV, Bluetooth, PAC Steering wheel controller from ebay/froogle. Probably be looking around 1000-1100 for everything is my guess. Find out what a shop might charge just for the install. Good Luck!
  5. From Manual: (2) GPS Antenna Indicates the connection status of the GPS antenna, the reception sensitivity and from how many satellites the signal is received. If the signal is received correctly, “OK†is displayed. If reception is poor, “NOK†appears.
  6. not a bad idea. just looking for something more factory to deter attention. Also, being stuborn about putting both on the roof. My wife's SUV gets a better signal than my buddies who put his in the Dash... Lame i know.
  7. Thanks. I saw those....pretty cool idea but not gonna fly on a sedan!! My other thought was getting an antenna cover painted to match the factory paint. I had an Accord that had one on the roof and I know a lot of BMW's do as well. Anythoughts on where I could find something like that generic or otherwise (07 Camry). I can't come up with anything.
  8. Does anyone know of a combo antenna that will work for both the D3 NAV and XM w or w/o traffic. I am putting this in a sedan and would like to have the antennas on the roof but preferably one antenna. Thanks.
  9. I usually get my install pieces from crutchfield (harness, trim kits, adapters, etc) because it is reasonably priced and they include a sheet on how to take the dash apart. Furthermore, they have good customer service and can help you with other info like VSS/Reverse wires if you cant find it on this rockin SITE!
  10. They rock. Great prices, Fast Shipping...and yes usually sell out pretty quick. I got my first D3 from them and just bought a 2nd one from them for under 625 with shipping. I only found it cheaper at one place (about 600) but was so happy with the first experience i bought from cartronix again!!!
  11. Thats nothing like what i requested....gosh your sick! One midget is balding and clearly requested a crew cut....Also, it should read "D3 Navigation Loading" Thanks for trying though!
  12. I'd like a Splash screen with two Midgets (one with long hair and another with a crewcut) playing basketball that reads 'D3 Navigation Loading. Thanks!
  13. Also VSS for a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee would be great!
  14. Also found this from The 12 Volt: REVERSE LIGHTS Lt.blue Driver kick panel + VSS WIRE Lt.blue At radio harness AC http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/for ... ?TID=85069
  15. For the 08 Pathfinder the Reverse wire was light blue and was found on the divers side under the step plate (Plastic piece that holds the carpet down on the floor). Once i got to the group of wires i just used a volt meter to find the right one (i think there were 2 lt blue wires). The VSS on this car wasn't an actual wire but rather it pulls the speed pulse from the instrument cluster itself: To do this you have to disassemble enough of the car so you can get to the gauge cluster. From there, 1 harness plugs directly into the top. Disconnect the plug and you will see tiny numbers in t
