How did you sync it? I hold the menu button then phone registration I think. Then two separate optinos come up, mobile and nav. I hit mobile and it says like send from phone. Nothing happens...Please help!

I did the Z3 update and it worked great! But the only problem I have so far is it will not recognize my iPhone. I think with the Z2 all you had to do was register it. Now there are different options. Did anyone else get it to work yet? Thanks!

So with the bigger harddrive, do you have extra space for songs I assume. I am just nervous messing with the components. If I buy an 80 gig will someone upload the program for me? How do I know if my hard drive is unlocked? I did the 2 wire bypass with my Z2 and upgraded per the Z2 bypass file. Now I have remove my hard drive, connect to my computer and upload the new files?

Actually I havent put any on yet...but when I do would like as much space as I could. Would you put your music there one cd at a time? Or have you found an easier way to do that?

I see there are both 40 gig and 60 gig on ebay. I would like a bigger drive for more music if possible. Thanks everyone for all your efforts. I hope there will be another tutorial to upgrade the Z2 to Z3 just like the bypass.

Will this allow the bypass to work or do I have to redownload that after the update?

This happened before and then went away. Yesterday I started my truck and the Blue Pioneer screen came on. I put the truck in reverse and the reverse camera worked. None of the controls worked on the unit, but they did on the steering wheel. I shut the truck off and started it back up and still the same thing. I reset the unit and still the same thing. I got home, shut the truck off and went in the house for 5 minutes and it started working again. What could cause this?

Well I went to do the software bypass and after inserting the disc...it stated it has already been updated to this version. This kinda has me stumped... But hey it works!

I did the two wire bypass and everything is working without the software. Is the purpose of the software to get rid of the warning label only?

I just finished my install. My iphone has bluetooth enabled and my headunit says Bluetooth unit has been connected but it wont pair???

so I am going to add the black ground from the headunit to the yellow and green which all goes to the black harness ground? It just seems to easy but I hope that's how you do it

For the two wire bypass that you have to ground the two wires...mute and green parking...do those have to be grounded separate than the other grounds?

Also, for the 2 wire bypass, can you ground both wires to the harness ground or does it have to be separate?

I took out my PAC-PS today and starting wiring it. The red and black I put right with the radio red and black and you are supposed to use two more wires...white and purple. Cut the purple loop and use one of them with a resistor and connect to the white. Then it says to connect to pin 18 (http://www.pac-audio.com/swixprogrammin ... les&ID=471) The problem is I have to plug there. Do I have to add another wire?

I think for now I am going to wait on the installation. I will keep you in mind though...thanks!
