  1. VSS location on the NC is a big mystery. Non-bose versions are supposed to have it at the radio, but I have never heard of anyone connecting one. I guess most of them are Bose equipped. In the Bose equipped cars, the VSS wire is not even installed in the radio harness. there are several discussions about this on the forums at miata.net. If you do find something, I'd love to know about it. That being said, I have been using my D3 without the VSS connected for over a year. Other than parking garages and tunnels, I can't say it's really been a problem.
  2. I installed and programmed my PAC in the winter. In the summertime it has a tendency for some buttons to not work. about the time it annoys me enough to pull the dash apart and reprogram it, the temp goes down and everything starts working again. I assume that since the PAC works by sensing the resistance of the different buttons, the temperature change is pushing the resistance levels up or down out of the tolerance of the PAC. Reprogramming instructions can be found on the PAC website at: http://www.pac-audio.com/swixprogrammin ... amming.asp
  3. No sound at all. Song titles, artists, etc still display and change. I can change channels, just seems like the audio signal between the 920 and the D3 gets lost. Doesn't seem to be signal related. This has happened in areas where I usually have a good signal.
  4. I installed a D3 with the 920 XM Receiver about three weeks ago. Three or four times now I have had the audio from the xp fade in and out for 30 sconds or so, then I lose audio completely. I still get all of the data on the screen, just no audio. all other audio sources continue to work fine. Shutting the car off and restarting (removing Acc power) fixes it. I have checked the connections on the XM receiver and on the D3. Anything else I can check? Thanks
