I have the N3 and I think it's time for a new background. I was thinking of what the background could be but i thought it would be cool if I could get a background with my fraternity in it. The fraternity is kappa sigma. So anything associated with that would be cool. Also, I usually ALWAYS have my ipod on listening to it, so pretty much the entire left side of the screen is taken up by the ipod control; so if a background were created, the main image would have to be on the right side to look the best. Need any more info let me know. thanks

could you please try to combine my university and my fraternity into one background for my N3? My colors for my university are a darkish red/white/and black. the logo is posted. for the fraternity.. it's kappa sigma so you could either do something like the other logo i posted or just the greek letters will be fine too. if you need any more help trying to decide what to do please let me know... thanks again also.. i usually always have my ipod control on so only the right side of the screen is always clearly visible so if the main combined logo could possibly be on the right half of t

After reading different posts and everything from different people I have come to the conclusion that electronic express attempted to bypass my n3 by doing everything up to the point where they are supposed to flip the switch under the sticker. So here comes the question... for a partial newbie to the whole taking important things apart, what is an easy way to get to the sticker? I need to find out how to take out the unit from my dash and get where i can bypass it with the paper clip.

okay nvm... what i thought was my cd-ib100 ipod adapter is actually my hide away unit. so can i just plug anything into it where it says audio video input and have it work? or do i have to buy output plugs that go to the main unit?

now that i think of it... i believe they tried to bypass it for me by grounding the wire to the parking break and even gave me a nice little switch to turn on the features but shortly after i start driving they cut off again.. i think they forgot to flip the switch on the unit quick question... they put my ipod adapter under my seat the cd-ib100?? or whatever and i noticed it has the three audio video hookups and does that mean i can plug something in there and control it through the n3? like get a power convertor and plug my xbox into it or somethingg??

can anyone post a pic of what the map should look like at night? i had my n3 installed at electronic express and i think they skipped this part of the installation...

i had my n3 installed by electronic express and i believe they tried to bypass it for me. they installed a toggle switch that allows me to use all of the navigation features and watch a movie, but whenever i drive it turns off. and then it says something about improper connection and all that. did they just forget to flip the switch on the back under the sticker or what? is there any easy way to take it out and flip the switch or is it long strenuous ordeal? should i just take it back there and have them fix it? thanks

I figured it out somehow the camera was turned on and it was screwing up the whole thing it's al fixed now thanks for the quick replys though

I just had an idea. I googled my problem and pulled up the pioneer manual for the avic n3. I found my my problem in the section dealing with backup camera, but it had no solution for the problem. I believe this has something to do with the backup camera (that I do not have) how can i get to the settings of the backup camera?

yes it has worked properly for several months atleast 8 months now that i have accidentlly reset it, it is not working properly for some reason

That is the message i get on my n3 when i start my car up. It was working fine when i accidently pressed the reset button for some dumb reason. I thought i fixed it all back to normal and everything i had to place the navi cd back in so it could do it's thing. but when i start my car every time now a black screen comes on with Caution screen may appear in reverse at the bottom. It is very annoying when i'm trying to listen to my ipod. I can fix it by pressing navigation then going back to the ipod control but i would rather it work right the first time. Is there anything i can do? Thanks

Any chance for a dodge logo centered with flames coming off of it? I have the Avic N3 if that helps for the image dimensions. I have found a bunch of backgrounds that I love this site, and i was looking for a nice custom one. For colors it would be nice to have either blue or red but really I am really not picky.
